About this property

Charming coastal home in the popular Rockport community of Holiday Beach. Located on a canal with easy access to beautiful Copano Bay. This stilt style home features an open floor plan with the living, dining and kitchen areas along with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. A separate downstairs entrance opens to a large bedroom and bath. Lots of outdoor seating upstairs and downstairs to watch the sunsets.

The space
Tie a boat up at the dock on the canal behind the house. Easy access to fishing in Copano Bay or fish right off the dock. There is a dusk to dawn greenlight to help with that! Use the handy fish cleaning station to prepare your catch and cook it on the gas grill. A propane tank is provided that you are welcome to use and/or refill if needed.
The house is situated in the center of 3 lots so there is lots of room for outdoor activities. If you prefer the indoor life there is free wifi, cable, books and board games for your enjoyment.

Great Property

This house was exactly as described. Great communication between me and the host! Great place to stay and look forward to staying here again!!! The beds were super comfy. The overall stay was perfect!!!

A couple of things to consider before renting this house

The listing says renters will have access to the canal but come to find out renters can't launch from either of the two boat ramps that are across the street from the house. I had to launch from a ramp 8 miles away. It was a little misleading and should prolly be made clear that there is no boat ramp access anywhere near the property. Also, I had to buy a new propane tank for the gas grill as the tank there was empty. I texted management about the empty tank and they responded " normally guests pay it forward"...that was not the response I was expecting. So, it's ok to ask me to but a new propane tank because the renter before me used up the other one and didn't replace it? I would expect that the property management would make sure there is a full tank or offer to bring me one. The house was really nice and location was nice.
