This cabin is secluded and brings peace to one’s soul. I work six days a week, and this allowed for a very relaxing get away. They thought of the little things, and had plenty of utensils, gas for the grill, and much more. Thank you for the much needed pause on life.
Everything was awsome house was beautiful the location was perfect if your someone who likes more seclusion and the drive to Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg are not bad at all our kids loved to play outside and we used the grill every night i would definitely stay here again!
We absolutely loved the cabin! It was somewhat secluded and very quiet. We appreciated the cleanliness of it and all the little "extras that were provided. The beds were very comfortable and we really felt "at home" during our stay! Thank you for everything!
Nice quiet, well kept with everything you need and more. We came in later than we planned and were a little worried about finding it so we sent a message to Leisy and she promptly replied with very clear instructions. We were then able to find it easily and were very pleased with our stay. I highly recommend this place. You won’t regret it.
The cabin was as described, very well furnished and clean. Communication with the host was easy and with a quick turn around time. We visited Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Cades Cove, Hot Springs NC, Knoxville, rented a pontoon boat on Douglas Lake and did some hiking. Was lucky enough to see a lot of black bears at Cades Cove and one while hiking on the Appalachian Trail. Would definitely stay there again next time we are in the area.
This was a beautiful little cabin in the Smokies hideaway! Homey, cozy, fully stocked basic amenities, dual bathrooms and showers with courtesy amenities, every kitchen appliance you need, two queen beds with comfy pillows and comforters, chargers everywhere you look. A perfect getaway in the mountains. Far enough away from civilization for some peace away, but only a 40-min drive to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg or hiking in the Smokies!
Wonderful stay....beautifully decorated with lots of attention to detail. Most equipped kitchen we've ever had in any cabin rental. Very nice and quiet area...the fall leaves were amazing. Firepit, covered porches with the string lights...very nice touch! Host was very accomodating and friendly. Great experience!!
Dont hesitate to book this property...you wont be disappointed.
Me and my family stayed here to get away from it all and spend some good family time. The cabin was exactly what we needed. It was clean, it was quiet. The beds were comfortable. We sat on the porch with coffee and watched deer walk through the backyard in the morning, and had family bonfires watching the stars at night. It was secluded but also very close to everything you'd want to do or see. We will be back
Place was super clean and well equipped. We travelled with an infant and we found so many toys, pack and play and even sheets. Kitchen had everything needed. Inventory was all full. I loved my stay there. Will definitely recommend!!!
This place is fantastic! I felt at home within 5 minutes after arrival. I didn't find anything in the description that wasn't exactly as described. The property was quiet and clean and well-appointed. Leisy seems to have thought of everything. I highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay at the Den so much! It was the perfect getaway for our family. We wanted to be away from all the hustle and bustle but still wanted to enjoy the mountain views and that's exactly what we got. The front yard had plenty of room for my toddler to run and play and all of us adults really loved sitting on the porches and drinking our coffee. We seen some deer, rabbits and squirrels and loved spending time in nature. We cooked all meals at the cabin and they had everything we needed as far as pots, pans, and kitchen things. The beds were so comfy! I'd highly recommend staying at the Den!
Best rental we’ve had in a while. Super clean, comfy beds, nice furnishings, well equipped kitchen, very cute, just like the photos. The hosts put alot of thought into the details. We enjoyed the feeling of remoteness, even though there were neighbors nearby. We loved making s’mores in the fire pit most nights and were surprised by the lack of mosquitoes. The cabin is kind of out in the country and not close to much. However, there is a cute apple orchard with restaurant and a Dollar General a few minutes away. If you want to do touristy things, it’s 35ish min to Gatlinburg and 45ish min to Pigeon Forge on windy hilly roads. 15-20ish min to rafting on Pigeon River or hiking at Cosby Creek area of the National Park or to get groceries in Newport.
The only thing we really missed was having a coffee or dining table for playing games with the kids.
Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend!
First impression upon our arrival was how clean the entire property was.
It was quiet and peaceful all five nights of our stay.
I had a question for the owner during our stay and received a quick reply.
The beds were very comfortable and had wireless and USB chargers on the night stands.
The kitchen had all of the essentials regarding cookware and utensils, the appliances were modern (and clean) and there was plenty of counter space.
There was a large propane grill on the back porch and the owner was thoughtful enough to have a spare tank standing by.
WiFi and cell service (Verizon) were both great.
There is a convenient Dollar General Market on the main highway near the property. I'd been to DG's before but not DG Market, which seems to have a lot more food items than a regular DG store.
The property is a mile drive off the main highway by way of a single lane paved road that only has a few places to pull over for oncoming traffic. It didn't affect our stay but am including for full disclosure. Google Maps was 100% accurate for the given property address.
Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to relax at a secluded location in a very nice and clean accommodation.
We enjoyed our relaxing stay at The Den! We loved the coziness of the cabin! The kitchen was very well equipped with just about anything needed. The Kheang’s were amazing hosts!
True experience being in nature, while experiencing a nice clean cabin for the weekend. The porch was amazing at night, especially with the lights. All essentials for cooking to outside activities such as fire pit, and games such as cornhole. Definaltey would come back.
This cabin is super nice, fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and is in a great location. The beds are super comfy and everything was nice and clean. My family has been coin
We rent this cabin to enjoy time away from any noise, it was as described, very clean, and equipped with everything. Highly recommend.

Hello! I love nature, gardening and all things sourdough! As a family we love to explore new areas, hike, camp and relax together!
Why they chose this property
We found this area while exploring Gatlinburg and fell in love with it’s peace. I grew up with a family cabin that had a level lot to play and explore and this reminded me of it so much. Close to the attractions but away from the crowds. Beautiful cabin and a useable lot!
What makes this property unique
We loved the kitchen and wood interior! Having the mountain feel without the windy steep roads and spacious lot is what sold us! We loved that it was a neighborhood but not overcrowded.
