About the host
Your host
Hello! I ran an Airbnb for 3 years with a friend of mine [see our reviews here: https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/388039] Find me in my ceramics studio or behind a camera. My partner and I love traveling in our Westfalia up and down California, along with the occasional Japan or New Mexico trip. We're quiet, non-smoking, non-drinking, early-to-bed folks who love great design, good food, and seeing beautiful sights.
Why they chose this property
THE SPACE
Located in a former furniture factory, the loft is quiet and protected from street noise. One large space, it features a full kitchen/dining area with large 8-ft table, living room area with TV and couch, bedroom area with queen-size bed and roller shades, and office area with 2 large desks. It has a spacious spa-like bathroom with oversized soaking tub and shower. The office and bedroom step out onto a balcony with two large lounge chairs—great for morning coffee in the sunshine.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
With a deep industrial and creative history, Arts District now has many of LA's best restaurants and coffee shops, and creative offices. Photogenic and chock full of character, it's also a very popular place for filming.
Home to some of LA's best restaurants like Girl & the Goat, Urth, Bavel, Zinc, Verve, Eightfold, and The Resident—right on our block. Short walk to Bestia, & countless more.
5-minutes to Hauser & Wirth museum, Union Station, Little Tokyo, Downtown LA.
Home to tons of factory-converted offices like WeWork, Spotify, LACI and Warner Music headquarters.
