Property Manager was Great
The property manager, James, was FANTASTIC. He responded quickly to my questions and ensured that I had everything I needed. Thank you, James! • The unit itself could have been cleaner. My mom and I brought cleaning supplies as we have had bad experiences in the past. We noticed that the unit was cleaned moderately, but the bathroom and the kitchen in particular needed a little more cleaning. (Admittedly, we are a little picky, so we cleaned pretty thoroughly once we got there the first evening; but it was not terrible!) • The resort was what we expected for the area and the price. It was very busy and parking was difficult on the weekend. However, it was mostly families with young kids; no loud or obnoxious partying, which was wonderful. • I expected to be asked about purchasing a timeshare at the beginning of our check-in. However, they were not too pushy; when I kindly declined, they did not continue to hound me, which I appreciated. • The only fully negative thing I will say, is that the photos of this unit are NOT of the unit we ended up staying in. I understand that stock photos are used frequently at resorts like this. However, because this was managed by an individual, I wrongly assumed that the room in the photos would be the room we would get. The room in the photo is newer and nicer than the room we ended up staying in. It was also NOT a lake view. Our unit looked directly into another building. We could barely see the lake from our balcony. :(
