It's certainly not every home that comes with an indoor basketball court! But that's what you'll find at Iyer Lakehouse, an exceptional property in Bass Lake with a boat slip on Beaver Dock, a game room with a pool table, and an expansive backyard patio with a firepit.

Step inside this home to find more than 4,000 square feet of living space. The main living room has an eight-person sectional, a stone fireplace, a TV, and a piano. The kitchen boasts two ovens, a separate stove on the island, and granite countertops.

In the evening, you'll have a downstairs game room with a pool table, a card table, and a dart board. Or, you can fit in some remote work in the office, featuring a desk and a leather chair. Additional amenities include air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a washer/dryer.

Beautiful Bass Lake is a fantastic boating, skiing, fishing, hiking, and bicycling spot. You'll be close to the Pines Village at the lake, with its restaurants, general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. Oakhurst is about seven miles away, offering shops, restaurants, bars, a cinema, and a live stage theater. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away, and the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park is only 15 miles away.

THINGS TO KNOW
Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent annually during the fall and winter. Because of this, summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season's rain and snowfall.

Plenty of space, cute lake town, house could use updates
We had 7 adults and 4 young kids. The house is nice and spacious and the basketball court and pool table were fun. My family always meets up and stays in a vacation rental and this is the first time we didn’t have everything we needed in the kitchen of a rental. It would be fine for minimal cooking. Biggest issue for us was none of the doors lock which is a problem in the bathrooms. Very strange. It should be noted in the description that the lake is drained in the winter and there is very little water.

House is uncared for. Many things broken and the beds are horrible
This house is poorly cared for, not maintained, and almost all of the amenities are broken. The porch was rotted, and it gave way as one of our guests crossed it. The back of the house's outside railing was loose, missing bolts, being 3 stories up, it is a safety risk. The floors were dirty, walking around in bare feet or socks meant black feet. We bought materials and cleaned the floor ourselves. The AC filters had never been changed and were blocked solid and made the AC almost non functional. Water leaking from the top floor main bathroom fan. We put buckets under it and had to monitor them all weekend. A Vacasa rep came out and looked at the leak and took one of the air filters promising to have someone fix it. No one came back, and no follow up. The umbrella on the porch was torn and worthless. The outside table and several chairs were broken. 3 of the windows were broken. The sink water filter was broken. Many of the lights in the house have burned out bulbs. The second floor. The furniture is old, broken down, and dirty and all the mattresses on the beds are old and worn out. The closets have broken doors, and one is stuffed with a broken dresser. The pool cues were missing except for one with a broken tip. The darts were torn apart and unusable. The couch on bottom was dirty and stained. The outdoor kitchen had a broken grill. The outside door downstairs lock was broken, the bathroom door was broken, and again all beds were old and worn out.

Family trip to Bass Lake
The property was generally in very good condition. We had 18 people including 8 children ranging from 1yrs - 13 yrs old. The rooms are spacious and everything worked well. The basketball court and game room was a plus for the kids. All in all, a great property for large groups! The boat dock was a plus as well. The only issues that we had were that there was very little glass ware, only plastic cups. I went out and bought some stemless wine glasses to supplement the supply. The other issue was the outdoor furniture at the ground floor. All of the plastic chairs were broken or broke just sitting on them and the other metal stools were bent and unusable. The fire pit worked but there really was nowhere to sit comfortably. Also, it would be helpful to have a second refrigerator to hold all of the food that a large group has to have. Maybe one in the garage as a back up.

Great spot for large group
The house had plenty of room for our group of 18 to celebrate a birthday weekend. The basketball court is an added bonus
