Enjoy the serenity of the coastal dunes at the Fairhaven Retreat!

Relax in the comfort of this spacious and open two-story home, set in the coastal dunes of Humboldt County. The Fairhaven retreat is a quick 5 minute drive to the nearest beaches and trails. Soak up the sun or cozy up in the fog at this coastal retreat. The home has two bedrooms, one on the main floor and one on the second floor with a bathroom on each floor as well. Enjoy coastal comfort with hardwood floors, a large living and dining area, and expansive backyard with views to the Samoa Dunes. The fenced backyard has a fire pit, propane grill, brand new hot tub/ outdoor shower, deck seating and large lawn.

Everything was great. The one thing that was kind of a bummer is that the washer smelled…a lot, but they were very responsive and the house was nice, thoughtfully designed and big.

Wonderful Getaway

We stayed at this property for a family vacation and wedding and everything was wonderful! The hot tub and outdoor shower were great. The kitchen was fully stocked, the location was great, and everything was clean. We will definitely be staying again!

Lovely base for a redwood adventure!

The house was perfectly set up for our small family to stay for a few days while we explored the surrounding areas. It was wonderful having a yard for our dogs, and the ability to come back and soak in the hot tub after a long day of hiking! The home was clean and had everything we needed.

Perfect location!

This home was perfect for our stay! Perfect proximity to the beach and the neighborhood is nice a quiet. Beautiful home and comfortable beds. It was so nice to able to bring our pooch to enjoy our vacation with us. Can’t wait to come back next year!

We had great time, loved the house will definitely stay again. The only negatives are only 2 bath towels in upstairs bathroom & the tiny coffee pot, we had to buy a larger one next day for rest of our stay. Thank you again for having us.

Redwood tree experience

We had a wonderful stay at Fairhaven Retreat. The property was well supplied for our needs. It has plenty of seating and was very clean. We had hoped to be able to see the ocean and couldn’t, but we’re just about 5 minutes away from beach access. You can see beautiful redwoods in Eureka or travel just about an hour north or south and see even more. Great getaway!

Thanks very much for the kind comments. We're so glad you loved the location. It's so nice being just a few minutes from numerous beaches. We are sorry you were not able see the ocean. We are very careful to advertise the property as being in the coastal dunes, but don't advertise ocean views. The Bay views from the East facing master bedroom are pretty epic though!
