Small spacious lakefront cabin built new in 2021, queen Murphy bed, includes free use of kayaks, mountain bikes, stand up paddle boards, lake swimming in season, small kitchen, 3/4 bath, covered patio with Adirondack chairs, BBQ, fire pit with wood provided . Breathtaking sunsets, birds, fish jumping and an occasional beaver. Relax by a fire, walk a quiet dirt wood road or try your luck at fishing . 3 km to store with take out diner, NS liquor store, and more. Minutes from mile long beaches with highest tides in the world and freshest seafood. Hike, sightsee, fish, whale watch and more. Experience French Acadian culture dating back 400 years.

Cute little retreat. Just spent the night after taking the ferry over from Bar Harbor. Enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of traveling.

We found that communication was the first down fall. The hosts were not very quick to nip problems in the bud. There was no communication to us as to the operation of certain elements in the cabin we struggled with the television for 3 days on its operation. A person came to fix it left with out explaining the problem and what to do if we encountered the problem. Host showed up and seemed to fix it but didn’t we ended up finding the fix ourselves which worked. The cabin itself was a bit dingy and dark, no ambient lighting, just a bare light with not even a shade on it. Dirt in the rafters and lights that hung around where the ceiling would be. Just a little bar fridge, no stove inside, BBQ outside. Table in the kitchen was very small. Bathroom was nice, although an upgrade on the towels would be a plus. Overall the rating we would give would be a 5 or 6 out of 10. Inside could use a white wash on the dark wood to see the wood grain but it wouldn’t be so dark inside. Hot tub was great very sandy on the bottom. We had one sunset that was phenomenal, host can’t control the weather but the sunset was remarkable as stated by the hosts.
