Relax and enjoy the million dollar view from our Lake Shastina home! Perched high on a hill, take in the panorama that is beautiful Lake Shastina and magnificent Mt. Shasta.

Things to do: Located just a few minutes from the Lake Shastina Golf resort, play golf at the Robert Trent Jones Jr. 18 hole championship course or the 9 hole Scottish links course. After golf, go fishing in Lake Shastina or nearby Lake Siskiyou. Mt. Shasta Ski Resort is an easy 25 minute drive, with downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding, dog sledding and snow sledding. Snowmobiling, ice skating, and hiking are popular activities too. Ashland, Oregon, home to the fantastic summer Shakespear Festival and Mt. Ashland Ski Resort, is just an hour north. Restaurants, grocery stores, and all the modern conveniences are available in nearby Weed, Mt. Shasta, and Yreka.

Sleeping arrangements: The lower level bedroom has a queen size bed with a full bathroom next door. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with 4 twins. The full bathroom is between the 2 bedrooms. The living room couch is a fold out queen size bed.

Wonderful stay, beautiful location

This place has everything for a great stay. Loved the fully stocked kitchen, the beautiful views and comfy beds. The owners are conscientious and good communicators and really went the extra mile. Highly recommend!

Weed Winner!

It’s an older home but was very well equipped and comfortable. The panoramic views are amazing, with an outstanding view of Mt Shasta. The owner did a great job with laminated instructions throughout the home. We enjoyed our stay and would like to stay again in the future.

Location is VERY special

We enjoyed the beautiful views from this house immensely! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in area. Great/quick communication with owner. Comfortable bed upstairs... House has a cozy, cabin feel. Only dislike was plumbing in upstairs bathroom (persistent odor from pipes).

Windy Getaway

The house was perfect for a girls weekend and escaping the Redding heat. The location was far away from a lot of things but the views made up for it. The house was cozy and had great instructions to make the stay cool proof. It is dog friendly and I see myself returning. The owners responded quickly to messages.

We are fun loving, active retirees currently living in Redondo Beach, CA. Our Lake Shastina home is our spiritual retreat from the hustle bustle of LA, where we can golf, fish, boat, hike, wine taste, and do all of the outdoor activities that we love. We are happy that we can share our lovely little home with guests from all over the world!

Why they chose this property

We built this home because we loved the peaceful outdoors feeling in Lake Shastina. Our home has a view of Mt. Shasta, which dominates the landscape, as well as tranquil Lake Shastina, Black Butte, and The Eddys. We've been vacationing here every year since the house was built. We were married here too, as was our son.

What makes this property unique

The panoramic view from our home is truly stunning. You can see Mt Shasta, Black Butte, the Cascade mountain range, all while looking down on Lake Shastina. Deer will stop to feed outside of our deck on a regular basis. We have seen a few bald eagles flying above the treetops, along with the turkey buzzards that float in the thermals. Blue Jays roost in one of our Juniper trees and eat any nuts or seeds we occasionally leave for them. Walking the dog down to Lake Shastina via the community center every morning is one of our favorite things to do. It is very quiet and peaceful around our home.
