This condo is perfect for people who know what the Mountain Lodge is all about! Mountain Lodge is known to have the best most prime location on the mountain closest to the lifts! It is NOT for people looking for a luxury / spa-like experience stay. This lodge is older but serves it purpose for skiers & bikers providing the best location on the mountain!

It also features a seated "overlook" area on each floor where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Allegheny Mountains and Shaver Lake.

Great location, needs a few things

We stayed for three nights at this condo. The check-in process was very easy, and the unit was clean. Location is good for skiing and a short walk to the village. When you stay at Mountain Lodge you are getting location and value over luxury. Most of the units are older, this one however has had some updated finishes in the bathrooms and kitchen. We did experience some minor issues mostly with the kitchen. The silverware and kitchenware are very sparse, and we found our selves struggling to complete more than one meal for our family of 5 without washing all the utensils. A few basics such as a dish sponge we’re missing. Honestly these are just minor annoyances that are common with many vacation units and the host did reach out to us to ask if everything was ok. We also experienced a very warm master bedroom due to the water heater being in the closet. Otherwise the place was fine, and the host was very responsive. A few updates and tweaks and it could be one of the better places in the lodge

Do NOT stay here

Wrong instructions for check-in- took over an hour to find the proper "front desk". No wifi. Inaccurate bed sizes. not clean. And because it's a vrbo, front desk and maintenance didn't try to assist. Phone doesn't work and cell phone reception is SOS calls only. No internet. 3 forks, no oven mitt- the oven only opens halfway. Dusty beds, fan blades, and furniture. Caution tape outside of front door. Fire alarms go off daily - no one seems to know why. Left as soon as possible. Want a refund. This is a clear red flag, don't stay here.
