👽I ONLY RENT TO PEOPLE THAT I HAVE TALKED TO IN IG OR REFERRALS FROM PEOPLE THAT HAVE RENTED BEFORE OR BIPOC AND LGBTQ👽
Holi! Thank you so much for being interested in my casita 💕 this has been a beautiful healing space. Honestly so beyond healing! It is located in Tona Pueblo land outside of Albuquerque and this is the place where I have my mini farm! It is quiet, sweet, cozy and out rurally surrounded by junipers and cholla. Take a stroll down the street and say hi to the llamas! Keep walking and see the wide open New Mexico sky during a sunset, sit outside in the front or back porch to look at the heavy rains pour down during monsoon season. It has held me beautifully and I hope it is a place of rest and restoration for you too.
WHY IS FLORA PACHA CASITA AVAILABLE FOR RENTAL
👽I will most likely be visiting home or traveling for work and I want to sublet my space while I am out to cover monthly payment
OPTIONAL CLEANING FEE (don’t pay if you clean)
I offer an option cleaning fee. You can choose to clean up and leave it ready for the next guest which includes changing new sheets, sweeping, cleaning counters, taking trash out, etc… OR pay a $100 cleaning fee
CAN I SMOKE IN THE HOUSE
👾tobacco, spliffs or electronic cigarettes in the house are NOT allowed
👾weed (only weed, no tobacco) is allowed
CHECK IN + CHECK OUT
Technically check in is at 3pm and check out at 11am. However, if there is no guests staying before or after it can be flexible. I will let you know.
THE HOME
🥰the kitchen is fully equipped! I will make a space of you in the fridge and cabinet. I do live here
🥰I will have my books out so you can read through them! please make sure to return them back into the bookcase after use
🥰if you are coming in the fall or winter, the heater will be at 65 or 70 degrees to keep the indoor plants alive (and also you cozy)
🥰animals are allowed as long as they are well behaved, if they break or damaged items you are expected to replace it
🥰MANY different hammocks around the property
🥰I have a treadmill in the living room. I would love to teach you how to set it up if you are interested on that... but honestly if you are in good weather I would just walk on the neighborhood if I was you. I can show you the one path I walk on (the one on the right NOT left)
CONSIDERATIONS
🐯I work from home and while internet problems are rare, sometimes when there is intense weather it might go down for a bit. T-mobile service gets good reception
🐯I live in a big double wide old mobile home on a 2 acre property that is fenced off
🐯it is the country! so if you have never lived in the country, and in the desert, please make sure to follow all instructions depending on the season. I will leave a print out of indications but some examples are, if you are renting in the fall and winter please leave some of the water running and if it is the summer you have to close all windows before sunset to avoid mosquitos and other insects coming in. The summer is high on months, so following directions I will leave behind is very important
🐯a friend will come in weekly, they will wear a mask and they will water the indoor plants
🐯if you are coming during growing season, there might be somebody coming in to tend to the mini farm (not indoors)
🐯you are totally welcome to come into the mini farm, but only stay in walkways. I can give you a little tour of where the walkways are ❤️
🐯if you plan to make a fire, please let me know so I can give you proper instructions. This is a HIGH fire zone so you would have to be very well versed on starting, keeping and turning off the fire pit.
AREA
💕this is a rural area and it is conservative, so while the house is cute and sweet I do ask that if you are in the ourdoors you are not naked (hahaha I love nakit1everything but my neighbors are 2 acres away and still see it all). The area is christian and definitely conservative and people here are mostly wh1t3 and most likely with horrible politics. When you book you will receive a little zine with info on places I go to in the small town ... but also sweet places in Albuquerque (very much a liberal city)! I have had different folk come and visit me and we have never had any issues with people, but I always try to be safe and I will give you a list of places in this town I go to and at least I have never seen or experienced bs.
💕the area has a small town at 15mns away where you can get food, fresh water, access USPS... all the things... but I usually got to Albuquerque to get my groceries and eat out!
FUN STUFF TO DO AROUND
🙈make sure you have a car with you!
🙈hiking about 30-40 minutes away up in the East Mountains
🙈the home is located 30-40mns away from Albuquerque and about an hour away from Santa Fe
🙈thrifting in the town that is 10mns away is amazing! I have some spots I can share... ABQ and Santa Fe have amazing thrifting too
🙈I always go on a walk in the neighborhood... I will show you the way to go. It is amazing sunset time
🙈the city is very close and ABQ is filled with good food, cute queer spots and fun stuff... I will make a little list for you
