It was smaller than I expected but served our needs. There were a few things I expected them to have but didn't. But, I would book it again. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Overall stay was okay. Where we had to take some stars was the cleanliness — spiderwebs in most corners and pillow covers were dirty. Not what you want to be thinking about during your holiday! Internet didn’t work for the TV, so we called host and he said we’d have to hotspot through our phones. He was responsive and quickly answered, but fortunately we even had service to make the call and hotspot.

Good:Cute little property with decent lake view and quiet nearby camper area. Modern TV & full size kitchen appliances with some dishes. Nicely decorated and very cabin feel. Not so good:Bathroom floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long while. Shower curtain was nasty. Several inside lights didn’t work. Exterior lights are on a timer that has them on during the day and off at night when it is VERY dark and difficult to unload a car. No hangars in the closet. Contacted the host via chat but got no response.

The room was very clean but the kitchen had minimal dishes, utensils, pots and pans. The outdoor seating area was dirty. We couldn't use the chairs because they were dirty and moldy. There was one pier for 7 units to share and the pier was not in good condition. We drove to a nearby boat landing each day which was okay but not ideal.

Motel room on the lake

This was a simple motel room in a beautiful area! Communication ahead of time was good with lots of directions and with the impending snowstorm, we received communication about that. There was not much for blankets and the lights were not working outside at night, which made navigating the very icy conditions (which everyone has this year - not just this place) harder than it could have been. If you are looking for a simple, affordable place to stay - with a beautiful view - this is it!

July 4th Weekend

The room was filthy. The worst place that we have booked in all of surrounding Hayward area. The lights switches did not work except in the bathroom and a lamp. The cleaning service did not take out last renters trash. The air conditioner was too loud to leave on to sleep. The lock box is a horrible process for the keys. Not one renter was able to get in and out of this without struggling. We will not be renting here or referring this place

Nice location, cute room!

The room was decorated in Lake decor, and was super cute! Signage getting to the property and around the property could have been better, and the map provided was not very helpful. The location of the fire pit was not very desirable as you had to walk quite a way and carry your firewood and chair. There was a nice beach, which I spent almost a couple hours in a floaty, enjoying the water.There was an issue with my freezer, not working, but the property manager showed up the next morning and was dealing with it, I just kept my belongings in my cooler and had to go purchase some ice. My particular unit did not have any plates, silverware, glasses,pots and pans or cooking utensils, but they informed me that was because mine was a show unit as they’re trying to sell the entire block of rooms. Very friendly property manager and his wife was cleaning the rooms, and they were very nice to deal with. Hopefully they will resolve these issues quickly.

Overall a very nice getaway. I imagined the kitchen having more supplies. My husband and I brought a lot of food and the kitchen had the bare minimum. It was a little disappointing since the description made it seem like it had everything. We needed a cutting board, measuring cups, and hot pads and it didn't have it. Great place if you're gonna eat out often! It was a great stay outside of that!

The bathroom and main area could have been cleaner. There was only one thin quilt for the bed; no extra blankets. Back door to the patio was very difficult to open. Directions to the specific rooms were very bad; took us a long time to find the right spot. The air conditioning was very noisy.The lake view was lovely and the area was generally quiet.
