Classically Cape Cod in its style and appeal, this cozy, four-bedroom retreat in Chatham simply feels like home. In this prime location, you'll be able to walk to Ridgevale Beach and easily ride your bikes to the Cape Cod Rail Trail and great shops and restaurants in the heart of downtown.

Wake up each day to beautiful morning light, with all four upstairs bedrooms offering generous windows and timeless decor. Downstairs, you can get the coffee going in the well-appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, gather around the dining room table for breakfast, and discuss everyone's plans for the day. A washer/dryer, high-speed WiFi, and a beach wagon make it easy to get swimsuits together, check the tides, and walk the half-mile to the beach.

Afternoons and evenings are best spent basking in the central air conditioning (a luxury on the Cape), relaxing outside on the furnished back deck, or piling on the sectional sofa in the living room for movies on the streaming-equipped cable TV. There's even an additional TV in the unfinished basement - a great spot to kick back as you're finishing the day's laundry.

The max occupancy is six adults, eight people total.
There's a red wagon in the basement for bringing your kids and gear to the beach.

A perfect place

We had a great stay. The house is in a perfect location - on a quiet street. The house is clean and well equipped, the beds are comfy with top notch linens, the living room with the large smart TV is a great spot for evening movie watching and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare all your meals. You will love this property!

Weekend on the Cape.

The house was lovely, tucked into a nice quiet neighborhood in Chatham and a nice 15 minute walk to the beach. It was clean and roomy. The furniture really nice, the bedrooms clean an comfy. Two nice full bathrooms and a beautiful outside shower. Great deck and fire pit in the yard. The angle of the house made the backyard nice and private The kitchen/ dining room were perfect for gathering. I would definitely stay again and recommend it as a place on the Cape with great access to Chatham and Harwich ...

We had a great time in Chatham at this house, and it very nicely accomodated me, my husband and our two small girls. Kitchen was small, and drawers didnt all pull out very well, but it worked well for us. Only thing this house was missing that we've gotten used to having at VRBO houses is beach chairs - we live in a condo so don't/can't own these ourselves, and it's always so helpful when rental properties have these.

Beautiful, but in the middle of a construction project

This was our second time staying here. The house and location are great. This time, upon checking in we realized the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom had been pulled down due to water damage, exposing new pipes and the upstairs bathroom. On the second day, we were using the upstairs shower and realized it was leaking into the downstairs shower and bathroom! We attempted to contact the property manager but the phone number and QR code posted in the house did not work, so we’re relegated to using the Vacasa app and e-mail, which didn’t yield any response. We wound up leaving early because there was only one working bathroom. Only once I contacted Vrbo to ask for a refund, did Vacasa respond and they said we should have called sooner and that there was nothing they could do because we didn’t notify them soon enough. I asked for calls from the property manager and the supervisor but nobody ever got back to me. This was very frustrating because we notified them as soon as we noticed there was an issue. Only after we left did Vacasa respond that the property manager had finally gone to the house and run the water and coincidentally didn’t notice any problems. While the house and the location are great, this experience with Vacasa and Vrbo has been a nightmare.

Wanted this to be a better stay but unfortunately it was not

Unfortunately we do not have a positive review. My family was so excited to come to Cape Cod and was unfortunately met with a house that was unhealthy and unsanitary to stay in. Upon arrival, the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom was removed. Pipes were exposed. Wood had water damage and it smelled musty. I immediately contacted Vacasa (the property management) who got back to me quickly but pushed me off to a local manager who didn’t get in touch for DAYS. Upon showering in the upstairs bathroom, the shower DID NOT DRAIN. It also leaked into the first floor bathroom and tub and then proceeded to leak all throughout the bathroom leaving shower water all over the bathroom unsanitary to bathe our children in. So now we basically had 2 unusable showers. I had to shower in the outside shower in the dark. Also, the dishwasher leaked. This house needs some plumbing fixed throughout. I couldn’t get in touch with anyone from VACASA to fix this issue so I had to call VRBO to get into another house. This house was not ready to house a family and I think that should have been communicated prior to us moving in. Besides this terrible experience the house was in a good location-close to town as well as restaurants.

Kitchen Needs More Love

The kitchen is not well equipped or organized for the size of the home. Pots and Pans as well as plates and cups feel like someones leftovers and hodgepodge. Outside of that the place was well situated in Chatham and very comfortable.

Lovely home

Home was lovely and clean and easy to book. Also, very easy access with key code both checking in and out. One small thing, however, is there were barely enough towels left for us, and no floor mat by the shower so the floor got quite wet with no way to dry it. And only 1 roll of toilet paper was left in each bathroom! We went through one and most of the other, having to split between bathrooms. Would have been nice to have at least one spare roll. Tried to email about towels but got no response.

Accurate description

Place was very clean and accurately described photos. The house had some extras for kids which made it convenient (like pack n play, sound machine, etc). Location was pretty convenient to the beach although we definitely got confused with how to get there which made the walk extra challenging with two young kids and took us a solid 20 min overall.
