The beautiful medieval house KOKKINI is located in a narrow alley behind the walls of the old town of Rhodes. Right in the middle of it, more than just applies to this object. Experience Rhodes differently, completely differently, knightly differently!

The house KOKKINI is located in the middle of the old town. The numerous sights such as the clock tower, the old cannons at the Grand Master's Palace or the famous Socrates street are only a few minutes' walk away. The choices of traditional taverns and restaurants are overwhelming, inviting and really delicious.
The sandy beach must of course not be missing and is 200m away from the holiday property.
For daily needs there are supermarkets and shops within a few meters.
Many clubs and bars are also nearby for our outgoing guests.
The airport is 15 km away.

Furnishing

The house KOKKINI extends on 2 floors and a roof terrace.
On the first floor there is the living room, dining room, bathroom with toilet and the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob, oven and kettle. A spacious dining table and a sofa bed complete the first floor.
The 3 bedrooms and the second bathroom with toilet are on the second floor. The balcony can be reached through one of the bedrooms. With 2 single beds in 2 bedrooms and a king-size bed in the other bedroom, there are enough beds.
The roof terrace with its phenomenal panoramic view of the old town invites you to relax or for a social barbecue evening.

Rhodes Getaway

This property had a great location - just a short walk from St.John's Gate. It was easy to walk to the main square and there were so many shops, restaurants, and bars close by. There was also a full grocery store just a few blocks down. The rooftop area was great in the evenings, but a little hard to access (for some) due to narrow winding stairs. One of my friends thought the downstairs mattress was uncomfortable, but those of us staying upstairs were satisfied. Communication with the owner and manager was easy through Whatsapp and they graciously arranged transportation to and from the airport for us. We enjoyed our stay there!!

One-of-a-kind find in the heart of medieval old town Rhodes

This is a spectacular home in an excellent location. As advertised, just a few minutes walk to the heart of the old city and a few minutes walk to the St. John’s/red door gate, where there was available parking. There was a very nice family-run restaurant at a small hotel right around the corner, where we enjoyed some excellent meals.The home was very well appointed. Elias even left us some snacks, drinks and a bottle of wine, which was very thoughtful. The place was immaculately clean. The air conditioners worked well and the Wi-Fi was adequate. The full kitchen has everything you need to cook Having laundry was a huge plus although it is located on the rooftop terrace area. Although accessing it requires a trip up a very tight spiral staircase, the rooftop terrace area is tremendous. It even has a refrigerator and a hot tub. It has spectacular views of the city and is a wonderful place to hang out at night.I would not recommend a stay here (or anywhere in old town Rhodes) if you have somebody with you with limited mobility. That being said, Elias helped us make accommodations by personally arranging free Electric Car service to transport my elderly mother to and from the central shopping area (and to our parking at the end of the stay)Elias was a kind and generous host. He was extremely available and responsive. We did have trouble finding the property at night, but Elias helped guide us in by phone. Suggest you arrive in daylight.Amazing stay, highly recommended!

Great Location, very clean, and attentive host

The property is located inside the wall of Old Town Rodos. Property is as advertised. Great location, very clean, even has a rooftop area. The host was very attentive and also arranged the taxi from the airport. The property is about 15 minutes from the harbor, with hundreds (I know I’m exaggerating a bit) of restaurants in between. Will definitely stay again when back in Rodos.

Es war alles wunderschön und es war neu renoviert, wir waren die ersten Gäste und der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Als wir ankamen fanden wir Champagner, Wein, Wasser Snacks usw. Im Haus vor und es war ein welcome packet sagte man uns... Wow so fängt der Urlaub erst recht gut an. Das Haus liegt direkt in mitten der Altstadt alles ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen und es war ein Traum, schade das wir nicht länger bleiben konnten aber wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen. Danke an den Gastgeber wir habe uns jederzeit wohl gefühlt

Location, Location, Location!

We loved the location of this property — set back from the busiest tourist areas, but close to everything in the old city. The immediate neighbors and shopkeepers were very friendly. We had fine breakfasts, lunches and dinners at small hotels and restaurants less than a 5 minute walk (Mateo’s was a favorite for dinner!). The property has a rooftop terrace that is wonderful for taking breaks between day time and evening activities, though one has to be agile enough to negotiate the tight spiral staircase. Traveling with my wife and sister it was helpful to have the two bathrooms. Since you are inside the walls of the old city, there is some noise from passers-by and motor scooters, but we heard very little at night with the bedroom air conditioning units turned on. We had plenty of space in the apartment for the three of us to spread out. The kitchen had a full fridge, and everything we needed. Our host, Nektar, was always available before and during our stay and his clear instructions made our late night arrival easy. All in all, very nice spot to spend 3-4 days in the old town.

Great location for exploring Rhodes Greece

We booked this property in May 2019 because it was within the old city walls of Rhodes. The owner was very helpful in all ways. The location was within easy walking distance of the main square, shops, restaurants, harbor, and historical sites. The property was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this property for a couple, couples, or a family.
