Take a step back in time at the Magnolia Manor. Located just 10 minutes from I-95 and 20 minutes to Darlington Speedway, this historic home is the perfect location for your next adventure. The sweeping grounds are home to several historic fruit and nut trees, an outdoor patio, a firepit, and a garden. Guests can enjoy the tranquility and serenity of an era when life moved at a different pace. Whether you're sipping a cup of coffee on one of the historic porches or BBQing in the shade of a Pecan Tree, the Magnolia Manor is sure to hold a special place in your memory bank. Magnolia Manor is also home to the Magnolia Cottage (perfect for a romantic getaway) as well as the Magnolia Ballroom (a small venue space that is used for afternoon teas and can be rented out by guests looking for more space), and the Magnolia Barn (our larger venue perfect for all events).

We had a family wedding in nearby Marion and this rental offered just what we needed. The spacious kitchen and dining room made the preparation and sharing of meals very convenient. Having three full baths was wonderful. The history and beauty of the rental was an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely historic home in a scenic location. Comfortable beds and well appointed with gracious amenities. We needed a spacious home with room for the family. Fourth of July Stay

My family and I stayed at this house to be somewhat near myrtle beach. It’s about an hour from the beach but if you wake up early and stay all day it’s worth it! There are many restaurants about 15 minutes away. The host was attentive and responsive! The house was in good condition as well, very large!

My son was married just down the road at Hidden Acres, this stoning home allowed my large family to all stay in one location. i would also say the large kitchen was more than adequate for my wife to prepare the desserts for the rehearsal dinner. 10 out or 10!

Full house at the Manor

Overall it was a great experience. Courtney responded to questions immediately and there was plenty of room for 6 adults and a one year old. Only suggestion—let guests know if someone will be checking into cottage attached to house during their stay.

Perfect for Family Wedding!

We had family come from all over for a wedding in Marion, SC. This house was perfect and allowed us to all be together throughout the weekend. The charm of this 1890 house was undeniable. Courtney was very easy to work with and quick to respond to our questions. Amazing home!

We had to attend a wedding at Hidden Acres in Marion. We came from a long way and it was such a nice home to stay in being so far away from home. It had everything we needed for the short time and Courtney was always available to answer any questions. I felt awful when trying to head out we had some troubles with the lock on the door but Courtney was so understanding 100% recommend!

Beautiful historic home

We enjoyed our stay here! We had extended family including grandparents and it worked really well for us. Large rooms including kitchen and dining area with enough seating was wonderful. Everything was very clean and recently updated. Courtney quickly answered any questions during booking and our stay. The front porch and spacious yard were helpful for our busy family. We also enjoyed seeing the frequent trains go by as the railroad is within view of the house. I would recommend this place! Thank you Courtney and family!

Excellent Experience

Our family convened at Magnolia Manor to attend a nearby memorial service and found it to be a great place to gather and share memories together. The house has a perfect blend of modern amenities and rustic patina in a uniquely rural setting. We appreciated the essy access to I-95, nearby fine dining in Florence, and all of the small touches provided by the host to make our stay as seamless as possible. The nearby active railroad can get noisy, but it doesn't take long to adjust to the rhythms of the passing freight trains. With 5 bedrooms and comfortable beds we had plenty of space to accommodate our various family members, as well as plenty of seating in the dining room and on the porches for us all to gather and enjoy each other's company. If you are looking for an out of the way spot to gather for family events or company retreats this is certainly an option to consider.
