Welcome to the beautiful Franconian Forest. We offer a comfortably furnished cottage with two bedrooms right on the edge of the forest on 700sqm plot. In the morning you can watch the deer from the terrace, hike through the Franconian Forest and on the nearby Rennsteig or visit the spa in Bad Steben.
The Wall Trail between Franconia and Thuringia as a former inner German border is about 2 km away.
The neighboring state of Thuringia with the Saale-Unstrut region is also easy to reach and offers many excursion possibilities.
The medieval towns of Coburg and Kulmbach are ideal for entertaining day trips.

Sonne und Schatten

Haus war sauber und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Gute und ruhige Lage. Ausssentreppe und Geländer sind mangelhaft. Geländer biettet im Ernstfall keinen Halt, weil es garantiert abbrechen wird. Holztreppe im nassen Zustand glatt. Türschloss (ist nicht der Schliesszylinder) war defekt wurde nach einigen Diskussionen aber ausgetauscht. Durchlauferhitzer zu schwach dimensioniert. Bei Warmwasserentnahme in der Küche wird es unter der Dusche kalt. Für 85 € pro Tag grenzwertig.

Danke, wir hatten eine schöne Zeit. Die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, die Öfen heizen kräftig.Herrlich ruhige Lage. Die Tierhaare auf dem Sofa waren nicht so schön.

Urlaub wie gewünscht

Perfekt! Die sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter war prima, uns wurde alles bestens erklärt. Die Ausstattung des Objektes war gut durchdacht, wir haben nichts vermisst. Sehr gut in Erinnerung sind unsere morgendlichen Spaziergänge mit unserem Hund zum nahegelegenen See. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
