About this property
Cozy Cottage Perfect for Couples Getaway near the Smoky Mountain, Dollywood & PF
Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a cozy sitting room and kitchenette stocked with amenities like a Keurig Coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave and mini-fridge. Venturing further you'll encounter a comfy bedroom with a plush KING-SIZED BED. Swing open a custom wooden door to reveal a vintage brass sink in a full bathroom naturally lit by a well placed sky light. You'll also find the possibility of a warm bubble bath in a classic hundred year old claw foot tub surrounded by newly tiled floor.
Built by a father and son team attributed to having done most of the masonry work in downtown Sevierville this cottage originally served as a pump house, providing water for the residents. You’ll find the original pump standing over a 20-foot covered well in the patio today. The well and farmhouse adjacent to the cottage was built in 1860. A modern addition built around this piece of history makes it 350 square feet of rest, relaxation, and restoration for you. Note that this listing is for the one bedroom, one bathroom cottage behind the Farmhouse. The Farmhouse is a separate listing and is ready for rental as well.
As evening closes, enjoy stargazing by the fire pit near the apple trees. Serene surroundings make it an ideal space to enjoy warm company with friends. This cottage is secluded enough for a getaway while being accessible to all the shops and attractions your heart desires.
For basic grocery and hygienic needs Food City, Walgreens, Subways, and gas stations are all within 4 miles of the house. You’ll be in downtown Sevierville in a 9 miles car ride. Along the route you can stop by a Walmart Neighborhood Market and pass by numerous fast-food options.
Want to get some shopping in? The cottage is a convenient 12 mile drive from Tanger Outlet Mall and Super Walmart.
If you prefer backpacking through natures finest trails, it’s just 12 miles through Gatlinburg to the gorgeous Smoky Mountains National Park. Whatever you choose to do, you’re bound to create beautiful memories beckoning you back to the warm and cozy cottage with a farmhouse experience.
THINGS TO NOTE:
There are shared spaces with Farmhouse guests that may be on the property.
We have plenty of parking available while motion-sensor lights along with timed accent lights and signage make finding your way easy if you plan to check-in after dark.
HOT TUB: is a shared amenity. Due to high energy costs, the hot tub will be off upon arrival. If you wish to use it, please plan accordingly. It will take about 2 to 3 hours to warm up. Once you are done, please turn it off.
Things to note during the spring and summer seasons.
We do routine (monthly) pest control around the property, but you are on a farm, so there may be occasional bugs sightings during your stay.
The cottage may share parking with other guests. Your designated parking area will be in front of the circle with the “Kairos’ Cottage sign and arrow.”
To keep clothes fresh and clean, there’s a laundromat 5 miles away on the corner of Long Springs Rd. and the main Hwy 411.
The house is on Old Newport Highway which is a busy street during the day so traffic may be heard however at night it is quiet and peaceful.
Camera's are placed outside and are recording 24 hours a day to ensure the home does not incur damage. (one on the front porch of the cottage, one in the walkway leading to the cottage, one on the front porch of the farmhouse, one at the entry door of sunroom to the farmhouse facing the driveway)

About the host
Hosted by Nathaniel San

My wife, Jasmine, and I both love helping people. Jasmine works in the medical field helping people physically, while I have experience helping counsel youth and young adults. I've worked with teens and enjoy helping people realize their potential. We both hold in high regard spiritual, mental, emotional, relational, and physical health. Part of those elements are bound up in the places we immerse ourselves in. This is why spaces play a vital role in our overall health in getting well rested for the days activities. We have been married for 10 years, have an 8 year-old Chocolate Lab, two Netherland dwarf bunnies, and a sweet 2 year-old son named Kairos.
