The lovingly furnished apartment is located in a quiet location in Lichtenhain, directly on the National Park Saxon Switzerland. Lichtenhain, as a district of the silk flower town of Sebnitz, is especially known for the wildly romantic Kirnitzschtal, the Kuhstall (second largest rock gate in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains) and the Lichtenhain waterfall.

The apartment has a cozy living room (extra bed possible) with fully equipped kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower and toilet. It is also equipped with Wi-Fi, satellite TV, radio and electric heating. Bed linen and towels are included in the price for stays of 5 nights or more. On the property are also a car parking, a seating area with barbecue facilities and a lawn for use available. Bicycles can be placed on request in the owner's garage. From the property you can enjoy a magnificent view of the mountain panorama of Saxon Switzerland. In Lichtenhain you will also find two restaurants, a café, a bowling alley and a village shop. For our younger guests there is a public playground in the village.

For your activities in the Saxon Switzerland, the holiday home is a perfect starting point, as well-marked hiking and biking trails run directly in front of the property. The Lichtenhain Waterfall in Kirnitzschtal can be reached on foot in 30 minutes. For the ascent to the cowshed is also half an hour to plan. Other popular destinations include the Bastei (20 km), the fortress Königstein (15 km), the rock stage Rathen (22 km), the Sebnitzer silk flower manufactory and the local museum and the border crossing to the Czech Republic (6 km), the National Park House, the Elbe Cycle Route and the Toskana Therme in Bad Schandau (8 km).

Children's excursion destinations include: the Erlebniswelt Steinreich on the Basteiparkplatz in Rathewalde, the Eisenbahnwelten in Rathen, the Elbereizeitland and the Klettergarten in Königstein, the primeval park and the sports and leisure center Soli-Vital in Sebnitz, the bathing paradise of Mariba in Neustadt / Saxony ,

Die Wohnung war ordentlich und sauber.Einen Abzug gibt es leider, da man die Sitzgelegenheiten direkt vor dem Zimmer nicht nutzen kann diese werden vom Schwager genutzt.Die Gastgeberin selber 100 Punkte superfreundlich.Die Lage der Wohnung und das ist auch am wichtigsten absolut top wieder 100 Punkte.Man ist in 15 min im Nationalpark und das ist wunderbar.Die Einfahrt war kein Problem, mit einem tiefergelegten wird es schwierig.Unsere 2 Hunde waren auch willkommen alles in allen hatten wir dort einen wunderschönen Urlaub.

Schöne Fewo in herrlicher Lage

Saubere, gut ausgestattete Fewo. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Direkte Wandermöglichkeiten ab der Fewo. Sehr schöne Umgebung. Freundliche Vermieter. Die Anfahrt erfolgt über eine sehr unwegsame Straße mit hohen Verwerfungen. Kein Problem wenn man langsam fährt, dürfte aber für tiefergelegte Fahrzeuge unpassierbar sein. Die Klingel der Vermieter befindet sich an der Seite des Gebäudes, direkt bei der Einfahrt am Tor. Nicht vorn an der Eingangstür klingeln, diese Klingel gehört zu einer Mietpartei.

Schöne Ferienwohnung als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen

Wir waren mit unserem Hund in der Ferienwohnung, und wir hatten sehr schöne drei Tage in der Wanderwelt der Sächsischen Schweiz. Von der Wohnung aus hat man gute Anbindung zu Wandermöglichkeiten und man ist super schnell im Nationalpark und bei anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region. Die Vermieter waren freundlich und wir wurden nett in Empfang genommen. Der Garten der Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Leider war es Nachts ziemlich hellhörig und man hat die Schritte der Personen im ersten Stock, Duschvorgänge, und Spülung der Toilette sehr laut hören können, das war aber für drei Tage in Ordnung und auszuhalten. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass der Zufahrtsweg zur Ferienwohnung im Inserat besser beschrieben wäre. Der Weg führt eine extrem steile, enge Schotterstraße hinunter, mit wirklich vielen und großen Schlaglöchern. Im ersten Gang hoch und runter zu fahren war machbar, aber doch sehr unangenehm, man hat sich dann lieber zwei mal überlegt ob man nun noch mal wegfährt.

Super Ferienwohnung, auch für Hunde geeignet

Die Ferienwohung ist perfekt gelegen, sodass wir unser Auto auch mal stehen lassen konnten. Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei. Leider wurden wir direkt am ersten Abend von einem weiteren Bewohner des Hauses angepöbelt. Daher ziehe ich einen Stern ab. Die Zufahrt ist etwas spektakulär. Aber wenn das Auto nicht tiefer gelegt ist sollte es kein Problem sein. Ansonsten war alles super, sehr freundliche Vermieter, gute Lage, genügend Platz.

Wir brauchten eine nette kleine Unterkunft in der sächsischen Schweiz und waren hier voll zufrieden. Die kleine Küche ist bestens mit Geschirr, Besteck usw ausgestattet. Die Lage fanden wir gut. Uns hat nichts gefehlt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und umgänglich.

Die Wohnung war schön aufgeteilt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Ein großer Garten mit Grillmöglichkeit stand uns zur Verfügung. Super ruhige Lage. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Fewo war schwierig zu finden. Eine genaue Wegbeschreibung für die letzten 500 m wäre sicherlich hilfreich.

Richtig schöner Urlaub

Very nice property in peaceful rural setting. Great base for exploring the beautiful countryside. Can do lovely hike from the house to Lichtenhain waterfall, and short drive to river Elbe for scenic cycling. Optimal gelegen - klein und fein

Für einen Wanderurlaub optimal gelegen, kann man direkt von der Wohnung loslaufen oder hat nur kurze Anfahrtswege zu vielen Ausgangspunkten. Die Wohnung ist klein, bietet aber alles, was man für einen Kurzurlaub benötigt. Ein Dorfladen und ein Restaurant sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben uns einfach wohl gefühlt!!

Direkt am Naturpark

Die Lage ist perfekt für Wanderungen und Unternehmungen, keine weiten Strecken. Die Ferienwohnung liegt direkt am Rande des Naturparkes. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und geben gerne Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten in der Gegend. Sie sind auch sehr hilfsbreit. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt und hat alles was man für einen Urlaub braucht.
