Tastefully decorated townhouse with many new appliances. Relax on the large screen porch, or spread out in the open floor plan of the main living space. With a reversed floor plan, family and friends can spend time on the second floor, while the first level has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom for optimum privacy. Conveniently located close to town and the Fireman's Carnival!.

This house is protected by an outside surveillance system. NO LINENS AND TOWELS ARE PROVIDED SO BRING YOUR OWN OR CALL US TO RENT THEM.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less, then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge, and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

Propre, grand espace commun, immense screen porch privé, nous avons adoré. Nous avons une suggestion pour ceux qui veulent louer cet endroit... apportez vos propres couteaux pour cuisiner car il y en a seulement 2 et ils ne coupent pas du tout... c’était dangereux.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoy staying here; the layout is nice and there’s plenty of space for our family. The upstairs shower is very spacious and has a bench; perfect for getting the kids rinsed off and clean after the beach, and relaxing for the adults. King bed in the primary bedroom is comfy, the beds downstairs are pretty hard but okay for kiddos. There are a couple things like the sliding door being difficult to open and the transition from carpet to linoleum at the kitchen is a little iffy depending where you step. Overall though, a nice place to stay for the price and very clean! We’ll book again.

The bathroom renovations were nice even though my grandkids were disappointed that the jacuzzi tub wasn't there! Also it was nice that the sliding door was replaced. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Island Retreat was a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. The top floor is laid out very nicely, with a spacious primary bedroom. There was plenty of room for our daughter’s bassinet and a rocking chair (used from the living room). The screened in porch is nice and it seems like the issue with the door sliding hard was fixed prior to our stay. The beds downstairs in both rooms are quite hard though and have very loud/“crunchy” mattresses. A strip on the screen door was loose when we arrived and kept falling down, and the banister is very wobbly. It would be nice to have small dish soap and hand soap provided. Overall though, a great stay and we would come again!

South of downtown but few blocks from carnival grounds, incredibly clean and new appointments throughout. Pictures do not do justice. The large screen porch was a bonus as we ate crabs without 1 fly or skeet. Very roomy and for our family and quiet enough construction to please all..

The only problem was the sliding glass door to the porch. It stuck and was extremely difficult to open, so we didn't use the porch like we would have liked.

Everything else was wonderful. Well equipped kitchen! Screened in porch is wonderful!(besides the door which I already mentioned) it's like coming home on vacation! Also, there are only 2 TVs! Parking is iffy because of water when it rains!

Had very nice time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was dissapointed in the initial cleaning with Covid. I cleaned myself before my family arrived. Coffee pot had not been wiped down so I wiped everything down myself.I had asked prior to my stay to replace a/c filter. Was told it would be done. When I arrived management said they change it when needed. With covid should be replaced after each guest. Tub in bathroom should be replaced, mold around water jets. Grandchildren took showers because of the mold. Other than that everything was fine.
