Down the hall, you'll find a King Master Bedroom with a TV, a Private Bathroom, and access to the beautiful Mid-Level Covered Deck as well as a Bedroom with 2 Twin Beds and a TV and 2 Queen Bedrooms, so there's plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have the space they need to enjoy some peace and quiet. Beach view

This is a nice house with a goid view. There are a few negatives, for example the beds and pillows could stand to be replaced. The beds were not comfortable and the pillows a bit flat. Overall the stay was quite enjoyable and I would recommend this property.

Good Location

This house has great proximity to the beach, and that makes it overall a good property. Upon arrival (prior to any strong winds from a tropical storm to come), we noticed a great deal of litter around the property (plastic water bottles, food wrappers); however, the interior of the house was cleaned well. My family and I noted at least 5 large spiders inside and a snake outside the house during our stay, and that has never happened any other time I have stayed in the OBX, so I feel the company should engage a pest control service. The air flow to the downstairs bedrooms was terrible; we set the thermostat to 70 degrees, but the bedrooms felt several degrees warmer. Also, there are NO ceiling fans. Again, the proximity (1 minute walk) to the beach makes this house very appealing, but if it would not have that location, I’m not sure I would book again.

OBX Family Vacation

23 Ocean Blvd was home base for our family holiday in OB - allowing easy acces to beaches, restaurants, tourist spots, shopping. The property size perfectly fit our family of 6. The close access to the beach was great! The beach was less than crowded and gave all families plenty of space to stretch out and have loads of beach fun without encroatching on other groups. Be advised, 23 Ocean Blvd sits on a main access road and can be very busy/noisey. There is a crosswalk close by so you can safely get to the beach. Be sure to look both ways before crossing ;) The outdoor shower was a great bonus along with the beach gear credit thru VayKRentals was AWESOME!! The gear was waiting for us upon arrival. They were super responsive and provided quality service. This is definitely a pet friendly home. The only negative experience we had was upon arrival The property wasn't as clean as we hoped for/expected -pet hair and smell was very prominent. However, the property management company was proactive with their check-ins and we were able to report this immediately. The responded and found a solution quickly. All in all a 4 star rental property in OBX.
