About this property

Egret's Rest - Picturesque, Road, Boathouse, Canoe

Since accessing the property is the most important - there is plenty of parking and you can access this house via a well maintained steep 2-mile mountain gravel road. We recommend only 4x4 or all-wheel drive vehicles, because the gravel road has a few steep sections. 4x4 is necessary year-round if towing a trailer due to steep sections. Trailers over 20' long are not recommended, if not comfortable with turning in tighter spaces.

This rental is the perfect place for family and friends to make memories on Tenmile Lakes on the Oregon Coast. It sits on the waterfront of Coleman Arm on South Tenmile Lake. The home is beautiful inside and out with granite counter tops, comfortable beds, black out blinds, huge deck, blackstone outdoor grill, hot tub, cozy outdoor furniture and a gas outdoor fire ring. Enjoy the amazing views of the lake and forested mountains from inside or out. The style of the cabin is fun and modern and decorated with local art and custom art. This rental comes with access to the secure boat house to park your water toys! Use the dock to fish, swim, or sit and enjoy the lake and wildlife. This home is surrounded by beautiful woods and during winter storms or high wind events, there can be power outages, but there is a generator that will keep you cozy. We do not offer refunds for events out of our control.

Heaven in the clouds
Cool mornings where the fog lifted and you think if this is even a part of heaven, I am in! The home looks exactly like the pictures, the management and owners easy to contact, and the drive stunning. Walking around is uphill unless you go somewhere, but we stayed, played games, etc. We had one issue with the fireplace and the management team immediately returned our call and walked us through it. The kitchen is stocked and then some. Coffee bar was a plus! We easily cooked a Thanksgiving meal (or two) and enjoyed hanging out. The only problem was we did not book enough nights. We all wished we could stay there longer. We had 8 adults and three dogs and had PLENTY of room. Note: If you have an elderly dog, plan to stay on the main floor. The stairs are log stairs and stunning, but slick. Also, the clean up at the end was basic clean up. They make it easy for you to enjoy leaving even. We used the full size laundry and loved having the space for our adult "kids" on a different side of the house so they could stay up late and not wake those of us smart enough to go to bed early to catch the sunrise. This house is my dream! Thank you!

A little piece of paradise!
We came down to Oregon to go to the dunes, we brought the whole family and the hosts even allowed us to bring our doggies! The house was beautiful, so comfortable and well equipped! We enjoyed making our breakfast on the patio on the grill with our morning coffee. The hot tub was amazing as well. Our family didn’t want to leave! Thank you for great accommodations we appreciate you allowing us to have our dogs.

Great location
It was a great property with good amenities. The dock provided easy access to the lake. But, the hot tub was not functioning and property management made no attempts to fix it over the weekend of our stay.

Yearly Girls Weekend
AWESOME place with more amenities than all other houses we have stayed at. So many appliances and cooking/baking options in the kitchen, fireplace goodie utensils, a black stone grill and hot tub to name a few. Plenty of room for all 9 ladies. The only bummers were we couldn’t figure out the fireplace inside the home and the water “toys” (paddle boat, kayak, paddle board) in the boat house were unusable due to large mutated lake spiders covering them :) We tried to hose them off and they weren’t having it. FREAKY!! If the boathouse was as well kept as the house it would have been perfect.
