Worst VRBO property ever

The description of this property was totally wrong. It had only one small bathroom which needs a major overhaul. The kitchen and its appliances were ancient, and the glassware was almost non existent. The host required the entire payment upfront (very unusual), and he was impossible to reach by email or phone until the day before our arrival. There were limited instructions on operating the tv or internet. The bedding and towels were awful. We left one day early due to the condition of the property.

About 11:00 am that morning as I was on the airplane, I got a cancellation notice. No apology or anything. We had a hard time finding two hotel rooms. They were expensive and the baby was crying from being in a car seat after having been confined in an airplane.

Exactly what we needed!

This was perfect in many ways. A top priority is pet-friendly, and this absolutely was. It was spacious and comfortable. Although I was working nearby most of the time, when I was "home", it was relaxing and pleasant. For a four-night stay, price point is relevant and this home was very reasonable. As mentioned, we travel with our dog and this backyard is a dog parent's dream. This, alone, was nearly enough! Finally, the location for work in Tinley Park for three days was just perfect. Straight shot to the convention center, great restaurants, grocery stores, and live entertainment. I will note that the house is rather minimalistic in its offerings but it had everything we needed. There were a few little corners in the place that could have used a slightly tighter cleaning but no dealbreakers for us. Very nice host which, in our experience, is SUPER important. Overall... I recommend this home. If we are back for work next year, I will certainly request to stay here again. Thank you!
