Top of our list

We visit Gatlinburg once or twice a year. We try to use different cabins just to get different things, locations, views, ect. But after booking this one we might have found one to use all the time. It is large with large rooms. We only had 4 but could easily handle 6 adults. Taking the back roads to Pigeon Ford was about 20 minutes and only took 8 minutes to get to the strip in Gatlinburg.

Amazing stay!

My fiancé and I really enjoyed our short time staying here! Host is super informative and helpful. We had everything we needed and enjoyed all the amenities. Perfect place to relax and unwind after exploring the Smokey’s :) We’re already planning to come back to Black Bear Bungalow!!

Some Glitches…

Beautiful cabin. The glitches: •Friends we’re aware cleaning was done and would have liked to checked in after cleaning was completed to begin meal prep. •Did not realize grill was charcoal •No start up charcoal •No start up wood for fire pit •No start up ice for arrival HH beverages •Dishwasher would not turn on •Used small sponge to wash dishes, no dishcloths •The two dish towels had a lot of use, a couple more would be nice •Coffee maker had no basket for grounds Justin checked in with us. I gave permission for entry when we weren’t there. We hiked and planned on doing all our meals at the cabin, which we have done many times at various cabins as we travel travel north this time of year. This cabin experience lacked the amnenities we were used to. More for guests who are eating out, I’m thinking.

Everything you need and then some

From the moment we walked in the door, we were excited and happy to be there. We traveled from Michigan with my 3 month old granddaughter, and the amenities provided were adequate for our stay. There was plenty to do to keep us busy if we weren’t out enjoying Gatlinburg or pigeon Forge. The only thing I was sorry about was not including a full day to just enjoy the cabin itself. We were able to cook our meals, enjoy the hot tub, do our laundry and adequately take care of the baby while doing all our activities. Justin was very quick to reply to all messages and I will go thru him for any future trips. Thanks to Tennessee for the wonderful hospitality from us Michiganders!!
