The place is great for families and pets. The yard is fenced and has some good room for you pet to roam. The rooms had all they needed and were overall comfortable.Master bedroom was great. Its located in a great spot close enough to everything and the neighborhood was surprisingly peaceful and quiet. Its a beautiful area well worth it my kids had fun and i did love it.I would stay there again.
Big space and awesome backyard that's fenced for an active pup. Snow Summit is close by if MTB is a hobby. Overall, comfortable, quiet, and close to the lake, Summit, hiking, and the village for dining and entertainment.

Big Bear visit 2023
The house is in a great location. There are a few things that can be improved, and I did recommend a few things to the property manager.
Great location with lots of room for your pooches.
For the price, this cabin was a great deal. The location is great. Close to the village, but not too close where traffic is an issue. Lots of room for your pets and has doggy door for convenience. The upstairs loft is huge with it's own bathroom. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable. It's a little dated, but did not stop us from enjoying our stay.
First of, the property manager provided clear details and made the whole process very easy for us.
Secondly, the house has a nice cozy architecture, very vintage feel.
Last but not least, if not the most important, the LOCATION. We literally felt like we were 4 minutes away from every destination we put on our GPS.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're glad you found the process easy and enjoyed the cozy, vintage feel of the house. The convenient location is definitely a bonus! Hope to see you again soon!
My family really enjoyed our stay and this location. The fenced yard for pets was very useful as our dog is well house trained, but we didn't want to take her everywhere. There are lots of trees around the house providing shade and mountain atmosphere. the location is walkable to great resaurants and shops, as well as kayaking. Biking the neighborhood is really enjoyable and relaxing. Interior of house is well laid out and seperates the master and guest rooms. There were ants in the kitchen, but I imagine that's seasonal and hard to get rid of entirely with this location. All surfaces and floor was very clean, so it was very relaxing.

Whispering Pines
Great location on kind of a busy street, but close to town.Outdated furnishings and old shag carpeting.Patios were dusty and had cobwebs. Decking needs new paint.Upstairs shower doors were very difficult to open. Dead flies in window openings. Trash on left side of property.
What a huge disappointment. We had a great time, but it should've been cleaner. Also smelled of a smoker. The property managers were friendly and professional.
DO NOT STAY! THEY TRY TO MAKE FRAUDULENT CLAIMS OF DAMAGE TO COVER CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE THE OWNERS CANT AFFORD.The only thing worse than the cleanliness of this place was the attempt by the host to steal the deposit. Upon arrival, months worth of cobwebs/spiderwebs greeted us throughout the house. The carpet was from the 1970s and like a mountain cabin, had areas with sap stains. It was the family cabin you go to after it sat idle for a year. The backyard deck hadn’t been maintained for a while, weathered, paint chipping and trash and old decaying kayaks were haphazardly stuffed partway under the deck with a deteriorating tarp and about 4 inches of pine needles covering it. Okay, we weren’t expecting the Ritz, and honestly we’re not going to complain unless it’s unlivable. When we left, we did all the dishes, cleaned up and honestly left the house cleaner than when we got there. I took video walkthroughs of the house time stamped as we left. We heard nothing. Then two weeks later they send a message that they’re taking our deposit claiming they had to clean a pee spot in the carpet for 195 and that my golden retriever supposedly tore the outdoor door frame. The doorframe pic they sent, dated 12 days after our stay looks more like something a bear or large animal might make. Certainly not my golden retriever that was never left outside since my wife was terrified there might be a coyote or other wild animal attack if there was no supervision.Wish I could post vids!
