We are Len & Barb Kruger who live in South Florida. We fell in love with the beauty and the people of Cafayate and the Calchaquí Valley. We are both working professionals and we furnished and decorated L-27 to be a 2nd home that is both relaxing and fun to be at.
Why they chose this property
We visited La Estancia for a vacation and did not intend on purchasing a house but the beauty and climate was difficult to deny.
What makes this property unique
We have furnished this home to be a great place to have gatherings with friends and family, both inside and outside. The new Asador doors allow it to be a full 4 season room. The doors are screened to keep pests outside and rest of the house has 'dust proof' screening that allows the air to enter but keeps out most of the dust! We have also installed thermal window film on all windows to keep the house very cool in summer.
The patio at night (with the comfortable sling chairs) is a great place to grab a bottle of wine to watch for shooting stars and on very dark nights, the Milky Way and constellations are impressive and awe inspiring. Being at the end of the road with no traffic allows for very quite & relaxing times.
The house also has air conditioning & heating split units in every room for total year around comfort.
