The cabin was absolutely perfect! I loved the jack and Jill style bathroom upstairs and the tub in the master suite was amazing! Definitely a wonderful experience and we will be back!
This cabin is absolutely beautiful! It was very clean and the host was wonderful! Any questions I had, were responded too pretty much immediately. The views are gorgeous and it’s in the perfect spot.
Cabin was just as described. Very clean! Every thing that you would need for your stay. The owners were quick to respond during our stay.
Our kids loved the rec room and bunk room!!
This cabin is absolutely beautiful and had all the amenities for a family of 7. The views from the deck were my favorite part of this trip. Short drive to all the attractions. Beautiful area and quiet neighborhood with plenty of privacy. You can stay entertained with the game room and pool table which we certainly did.
We had a long weekend, celebrating a special birthday with my three Married children, spouses and grandchild. There was plenty of room for a gathering for family time, and the kitchen was very well appointed. We loved the large decks overlooking the valley and that the elevation was high and gave us a great view. The master bath is also super nice.
My husband and I rented this luxury cabin for a getaway with our only child and grandchildren. The cabin was spectacular and presented just as advertised. You get the feel of a secluded mountain experience even though the hustle bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are only a 25 minute drive. I highly recommend this host and this cabin. Any questions we had were answered immediately. We've always rented through large companies and this was our first VRBO experience. Five stars!
This place had plenty of room…2 levels..the noisy children 💕 were down below with their parents! They had the game areas and 2 Bedrooms and a Bath with a Living Room.
In the upstairs was a connecting set of bedrooms and on the pther side of the Kitchen and Living Room was a Master Bed and Bath..
Plenty to do there as a family group, with a Pool Table, Hot Tub, Game Room and 2 decks!
Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking…lots of utensils and pans..
This is truly a beautiful cabin!
We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was lovely and very comfortable. Hosts are friendly and attentive. Everything you could need was provided. There was strong cell service and wifi yet we felt wonderfully secluded. The kids asked if we could stay forever, and we will definitely stay again.
A word of caution - rain/snow/ice contributed greatly to this, but even with experienced CDL holders, we had some difficulty the last 1/4 mile to the cabin in the two wheel drive vehicles. It absolutely should not stop you from staying - just be aware of the weather and mindful of what you’re signing up for. The cabin and its view are worth the drive!
This cabin was just what we were looking for. It had just enough of the look and feel of a cabin in the mountains but with all of the modern comforts. One of the reasons I chose this cabin was because (along with other things), it checked the box for sleeping arrangements. The queen bunk beds were perfect for the two mid twenties guys we had with us and other bedrooms were just as described, so everyone was happy. Plenty of board and card games are provided and the video game console with Ms Pac-Man was a hit. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware and appliances which we appreciated. There were plenty of rocking chairs outside to sit and enjoy the mountain air. If I had to think of one drawback, it was the common area seating inside. There’s one area upstairs and one down, so not a huge deal, but it was hard for us all to sit in one room and watch a movie. We had one thing we needed help with and the owner was very responsive and helpful. Overall, a very good find with no regrets!
This Wears Valley Cabin was perfect for our family vacation. It was about 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge and 30 from Gatlinburg. It is a pretty drive up the mountain to and from destinations. There is an incline up and into the driveway so you will need a car with some pep. Our medium sized suvs made it just fine. The linens were clean and the cabin was pretty clean minus a few dusty areas we noticed weren’t vacuumed. The beds are on the firmer side with no dips or squeaks as you roll over and we found them comfortable. The appliances are newer and clean. There is a Grocery store and a Dollar store fairly close to the cabin where we grabbed a few essentials for the week. The dryer tripped a breaker while we were using it and we messaged using the VRBO app. and they fixed it right away. We had 8 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of space to lounge and relax. The pool table, poker table, and hot tub kept us enjoying the days even after we were in for the night. We really enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable here. We were able to enjoy the park and activities around the area pretty easily. It felt like home for the week!
Wonderful Place to Celebrate 60th Birthday With Family
The property is just like the pictures and it is in a very handy location. Wear Valley is close by and we ate at a couple different restaurants there (you must go to Paw Paw's Catfish Kitchen - so good). We tubed the Little River in Townsend, which is also fairly close by. Pigeon Forge with a very nice Publix is only 10-15 minutes away and Gatlinburg is 30 minutes away. The house accommodated 8 adults and an almost 2 year old well. The owner is very quick with replies and very friendly. My only suggestion would be to provide more than one kitchen towel and washcloth (may have just been an oversight by the cleaning crew) and just a few more dishwasher pods. When you have 9+ people in the house you go through a lot of dishes so we ran the dishwasher almost everyday. But those are very minor things and the house is wonderful and very clean and the owner is wonderful to communicate with. I highly recommend this house.
This cabin was perfect for our family vacation. We had 6 adults and and 4 children ages 5 to 16. There was plenty of space for all. We all loved the games and TV for every room. Kitchen stocked with plenty of dishes for large group. The location was great secluded but only 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge. Great view of mountains and farm. Hosts are very easy to work with and prompt with any need. Flawless stay.
The cabin was amazing! We had to do a last minute booking and the owners were so gracious and let us come early! The cabin was clean and spacious. Plenty of room and fun for the family!
We loved our cabin in the Smoky Mountains. We were able to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and we were about a 30 minute drive away from everything we wanted to do. Our family enjoyed playing games and watching tv downstairs each evening. We had plenty of room to eat out meals together too. Our host was great!
Beautiful well maintained cabin! Lots for everyone in your group to do!
My family (8 of us) were very comfortable in the cabin! It was clean on arrival and well stocked with towels and had all the kitchen necessities. The hosts were very attentive and answered any questions I had very quickly! We had a wonderful time shooting pool and playing at the card table late into the night! The hot tub felt amazing after a long day of shopping and site seeing! FABULOUS hosts! We will be back!!
My family was very pleased. The pictures do this cabin no justice. The owners made sure that we needed everything we needed to check in. Cabin was clean and felt so much like home! Entire famil enjoyed and we plan on booking again soon!

About the host

Hi there! My wife, Leslie, and I are excited about the opportunity to host you at Wears Den! I am currently in the US Navy and Leslie is a Registered Dietician. We are a family of 5 with 3 amazing daughters!
Why they chose this property
We are Mississippi natives who love a good adventure. We have been all over the country from fly fishing in Colorado to staying off-grid on the Boundary Waters. One of our favorite places we always come back to, however, is The Great Smoky Mountains. We hope your trip to the Smokies will bring as much joy and peace to you as it does to our family.
What makes this property unique
We really love the location of Wears Den. We were initially hesitant to drive up the mountain. When we pulled into the driveway and looked over the treetops, we knew we had made a great decision.
It is difficult to imagine an experience we enjoy more than waking up in the morning to a fresh cup of coffee on the upstairs deck while taking in the breathtaking Wears Valley nestled in between all of the surrounding Smoky Mountains.
