About this property

Ocean City's oldest hotel/motel newly renovated and turned into a fun boutique style resort named Quiet Sun. We're less than a mile to the beach and close proximity to most of Ocean City's top restaurants and main attractions. Including but not limited to; the boardwalk, go carts, boating, Assateague Island, Jolly Roger Amusement Park and Ocean City's favorite night life spot Seacrets. Quiet Sun is locally owned and operated with Shaka Pool Bar and Grill on premise.
We are a self-check resort without a front desk. Check-in instructions will be sent the morning of check in with a custom code for the door.

You get what you pay for...

Great location but it wasn't clean. There were long, black hairs everywhere on the shower walls (definitely not mine). My feet were also completely black like I had walked in a coal mine all day. No cable but Roku is available, you are required to take trash to the dumpster even though they charged a cleaning fee. They also use the same exact pictures for all of the properties even though they have different layouts.

If you want a great pool bar and pool, stay here!

The pool and the bar are the clear winners on the property and a large focus. The room wasn't clean. The bathroom was cramped. The lack of blackout blinds when the pool bar was open late and lights blinding you as you tried to sleep. The staff was nice. It's a budget opportunity if you don't mind being far from the beach, in traffic it was at least thirty minutes. The local restaurants and amusements are less crowded and you are close to the outlets. The locals loved the place and frequently told us outside opportunities.

Great Location, Excellent amenities, Friendly Staff, highly recommend

I was hesitant to book this knowing the history of this property in West Ocean city, but my friends and I thought we would give it a chance based on the renovation pictures. It Absolutely did not disappoint. The rooms are all newly renovated, clean, beds are very comfortable as well as the couch that turns into a bed. The pictures make the room look smaller than it really was. The bathroom in this unit was very small, so if you are a bigger person, I would check out their bigger units. The amenities were awesome! There is an indoor bar that serves food, right behind it is a beautiful pool with palm trees, a sun deck, an outdoor bar. The staff was all super friendly and spoke highly of the changes made to the property. You could not hear through the walls and even at night when the outdoor bar is open you can't hear the noise from your room and this unit was right across from it. There is a nice beach volleyball court in the back, as well as onsite laundry. My group and I liked it so much we already booked for July 4th, just in a bigger unit!
