About the host

Hosted by Tess Myers

Host profile image
Tess lives on the Kenai Peninsula year round. During the summer she can be found fishing on a boat or any of the banks of the Kasilof, Kenai, and other major rivers.

Why they chose this property

Many people come solely to fish for Salmon on the Kasilof and then fall in love with the area. The area has several lakes, fantastic fishing, and you have access to the beach along Cook Inlet.

What makes this property unique

Also nearby are Homer for Halibut Charters and Seward for a scenic day cruise to the Kenai Fjords (as well as major fishing). If you’d prefer a bit of Alaska city life, why not take a day trip to Anchorage to shop at the mall or boutiques for one of a kind Alaskan Native ivory or Baleen Art or get pampered at one of the many salons.

If the outdoors is more your style, always be prepared and on the lookout for mama bears, her cubs and other wildlife while on hiking on many of the nearby trails.
At the end of the day is a most stunning sunset to be seen from Cohoe Beach just minutes away from the Lodge.

There is nowhere else on earth that can compare to the beautiful daily life here in The Last Frontier. Welcome to my paradise. ❤
