We really enjoyed this property and the hosts did a great job with communication and anticipating needs. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and the creek during the day. The home is historic and a bit rustic, but with modern updates and top notch cleanliness. It felt like a treehouse and the only caution I would give is related to mobility or small children as navigating narrow stairs is a must.
House was exactly as listed, plenty of beds, AC was great, very clean and easy check-in with key code locks along with great communication with host. Checkout was easy and enjoyed the stay.
This was a great get-a-way vrbo for my friends and myself. Highlights were cleanliness, number of beds and baths, communication with the owner, and the beautiful setting on Shoal Creek/Wilson Lake. My friends and I found many places in the area to visit, shop at, and eat at when we were not enjoying the deck around the house or the dock on the lake.
We had a great visit and loved the view and coziness of the house. The kids loved the loft area and the lake was gorgeous. Loved the charm of the area and still having larger cities amenities close by.
The house was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The view overlooking the river was absolutely spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor fire pit at night.
Great property for our group of some grandparents and two adult kids, their spouses, and young adult children. Close to town for items to buy and things to do. Walk down to lake is steep, but very doable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a get away location for a few days, and would definitely try to stay here again if we were trying to gather in this area again.
We were a group of 5 teen daughters and 5 moms wanting a peaceful but fun weekend trip together, and this lake house was perfect! The girls shared the loft (everyone had their own bed!), and the moms had plenty of space among the other bedrooms. The lake was lovely. We loved the fire pit area and all the other great places for conversation (especially the separate screened-in porch with fan). The kitchen is well-stocked. Look no further—this home is great!
We recently stayed at this Vrbo property and it was nothing short of spectacular! The accommodations were wonderfully cozy and well-maintained. Every morning, we were greeted with stunning views that were truly postcard-worthy, making our coffee time extra special.
This property is a gem, and the combination of beautiful surroundings and stellar management made our getaway unforgettable. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend
It was the perfect place for a team of teachers serving as the Leadership Team for our school. We had plenty of space and more than enough towels and necessities for our group. The walk down to the lake was nice and peaceful! Perfect for a large group getaway!

Great views of water, nice fire pit and enjoyed the separate kitchens and living spaces.
Really enjoyed the house. Was little disappointed there was no dock since that was one reason we wanted on water but views were great. Enjoyed fire pit and lots of room for our group. There are 3 levels to this so lots of stairs but we didn’t mind. Very quiet street and lots of trees so you felt secluded, which we loved. Thanks !

This lakeside home is truly a hidden gem. We visited during peak fall foliage and the views were absolutely breathtaking from every angle. Tucked away on a quiet dead-end street with a huge lot full of old-growth trees, it feels like you’ve stepped into a treehouse fairyland. The A-frame itself is stunning—unique, full of character, and beautifully decorated. Every detail fit the vibe perfectly, and the aesthetics were truly on point. We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday with three other couples and had more than enough room to spread out and feel comfortable. Some of our favorite moments were sipping coffee on the deck each morning, lingering over breakfast at the table, and ending our nights around the fire pit. One night we even caught a meteor streaking across the sky—pure magic.10/10 stay. Would absolutely return!
We really enjoyed our stay. We were one of the first to stay once it went live and was aware that the dock wasn't accessible - having that available would highly improve the stay. The setup is nice and allows two family's plenty of room. Contact and response from owner/management was very quick which is always nice in case you do run into any issues. We would definitely stay there again if we ever have to visit that area again. We were there for my son's National Fishing tournament at Lake Pickwick & Lake Wilson. I highly recommend 365 grille for a nice dinner spot- wonderful dinner, drinks and views.

-I absolutely loved the area
-1 queen bed was uncomfortable
-king bed needs flipped bc you roll in and that makes for lots of waking up in the middle of the night 😂
-Rest of beds were comfortable
-kitchen needs to be stocked there were no measuring spoons minimal cook-wear blender doesn’t work (we are a cook food at home kind of family)
-cleaning crew did bare minimal (property manager did do her best to make up for it)
We would absolutely rent again if the housekeeper made more of an effort to clean the home

Thanks for working with us Amber! You were very helpful in your feedback. We appreciate you!
Our family was looking for a peaceful and quite place in nature to spend some quality time together and we were not disappointed!! The 3 level A-Frame was literally up in the trees with wrap around decks and beautiful views of the lake below. We were surrounded by nature, birds and the gentle sounds of the lake. There are a lot of stairs down to the dock, but once you got down it was an ample sized dock to hang out on and dip your toes in the water. One of my daughters took her kayak out every morning paddling down towards the creek area. She loved seeing all the water birds, sights and sounds on the lake. The cabin itself was very clean and welcoming filled with all the necessities for comfort and enjoyment. We played some foosball and used the firepit one night which was a lot of fun. The location was great and easy to get into Florence or Muscle Shoals. It's a wonderful place to leisurely spend time quietly or spend bonding time with a group of people. Shannon was an amazing host and was very communicative. She was very detailed with her instructions for check in/about the rental/check out instructions. Shannon responded quickly to any questions we had which was appreciated. Do prepare for lots of stairs inside and out. It was all manageable for our family. I highly recommend the Tree House on the Lake and we certainly hope to return for another stay!
Inside of house was pristine & very comfortable. House was easy to get to, and right on a beautiful lake. LOTS of stairs but we really enjoyed our stay. Only hitch was the door lock…it takes some effort to line the door up with the frame so the door can actually lock…directions said to pull it firmly, but I think the house has settled because the sweet spot was to push it back slightly. But that was the only hitch we encountered. This is a great house!
