Disappointed

Did not receive check in instructions and had to message host when we were on our way. They gave us code to get in the door but didn’t tell us which cabin. Had to message again. They FINALLY answered right before we got there. Had to message again to find out how to obtain a slip to put the boat in. No answer. There was a woman at the gas pumps and we asked her. Then when we got there I opened the fridge and it was nasty. Had to clean it out. Has one dish cloth and very little dish soap. The cabin itself was what we needed however, it really had not been kept up very well at all. Spider webs EVERYWHERE. Killed 4 or 5 spiders while we were there and wasn’t in the cabin much at all. The air didn’t cool the cabin out. Put blankets over the windows to help and it finally cooled the last night we were there. There is a restaurant a short walk from the cabin. We decided to eat there after being on the lake. After we cleaned up we went over. The waitress took our order. They didn’t have a couple items on the menu and when they brought the food out, 3 out of 5 wasn’t the right meal and one of the 2 meals that was the correct main meal had the wrong side. The other 3 meals came after we had been there over an hour waiting on our food. All and all we enjoyed the stay, but was very disappointed with the condition of the cabin and the restaurant.
