Swedish wooden house

The small cozy wooden house is the last in a dead end and borders the nature reserve on the island Älgö. Surrounded by nature and wildlife, the house is very private. In the morning greet the moose and in the evening the setting sun. The 75 sqm house has two bedrooms for 2 persons each. It is possible to put the beds as a double bed or to place them one by one. The beautiful and spacious kitchen offers plenty of space for cozy cooking evenings and the Scandinavian-style dining area invites friends and family to eat. The eventful or relaxing day can ring out on the Swedish veranda or on the spacious terrace with a breathtaking view. The bathroom is completely renovated, bright and spacious. The front small terrace invites you to the coffee drinker - here the morning sun can be enjoyed.

Nice and quiet and a little off is the small sauna sounds with a nice relaxation room.

Nestled in a very natural plot of 2 500 sqm, the house is very quiet and secluded. The beach is only 500 meters and both the beach and numerous bathing jetties invite you to swim.

Despite the tranquility and seclusion, the small elk island is just 20 minutes from Stockholm. By bus and then the Salsjöbanan it is just a stone's throw into the vibrant Scandinavian metropolis.

Overall nice stay

Th cabin itself is adorable. Nice location, but not too close to the water. Some amenities do not function as well as may be assumed. For example, the door to the sauna does not fully close from the inside. Overall the sauna is very below average. Also, the shower often does not have hot water. This is something to look out for. On the other hand, the fireplace is amazing. The kitchen has everything you could ask for. The terrace is also beautiful - we had a lovely time drinking coffee out there in the morning.

Superschönes Holzhaus auf Algö, nicht auf der vorgelagerten Insel, wie auf der Karte von FeWo direkt. Genug Platz für eine Familie mit 2 großen Kindern. Sehr ruhig auf Anhöhe gelegen mitten im Wald. Öffentlich zu erreichen, aber ein Auto ist ratsam. Es gibt keine fussläufig erreichbare Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, man kann mit dem Bus fahren, muss dann aber auch umsteigen. Wir hatten uns ein E-Auto gemietet, das hat super funktioniert. Lademöglichkeiten gibt es bei den Supermärkten oder sonstigen Parkplätzen.

Erstes mal Schweden

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt in Schweden. Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen und bietet allen Luxus, den man sich wünscht. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wunderschön!

Wunderschöne Lage! Es ist ein gemütliches, schlichtes, vollständig ausgestattestes Haus mit tollem Blick. Die Gastgeberinnen waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln da - das geht gut (einmal umsteigen bzw. eine knappe Stunde bis Stockholm). Nur der Supermarkt ist weit weg. Vor Ort ist einzig der Strandkiosk.

Moose House

Wir haben eine herrliche, erholsame Woche im schönen und stilvoll hergerichteten Häuschen in sehr ruhiger Lage verbracht. Wir haben selbst gekocht, Kücheneinrichtung ist hochwertig und gut. Als Familie mit Teenagern sehr gut geeignet. Besonders gefallen haben uns die verschiedenen Sitzplätze, die fußläufig erreichbaren Badeplätze (10 Minuten Spaziergang) und die Erreichbarkeit von Stockholm. Ewa und Monika haben sich als Gastgeber sehr freundlich gekümmert. Gerne wieder!

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet

Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und gut ausgestattet. Wir haben von hier aus mehrere Tagesausflüge nach Stockholm und Vaxholm unternommen. Leider ist derzeit die Bahnstrecke nach Stockholm noch für längere Zeit gesperrt, so dass die Fahrräder nur von Nacka Strand aus mit dem Boot mitgenommen werden können. Alternativ ist man mit Auto und Bus in einer knappen Stunde in Stockholm. Ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall sinnvoll. Wir hätten gerne noch ein Boot oder Kanu geliehen, was auf Älgö aber leider nicht möglich war. Ansonsten hat es uns sehr gut gefallen.

Wunderschöner Urlaub im Stockholmer Schärengarten

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - vor allem dank der hilfsbereiten und netten Gastgeber:innen. Das Haus ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um den Schärengarten und Stockholm zu erkunden. Absolut empfehlenswert!:-)

Lichtdurchflutetes gemütliches Ferienhaus

Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Liegt herrlich in der Natur, dennoch ist man mit dem Auto und mit dem Bus innerhalb 45 Minuten in Stockholm.

Schön eingerichtetes Ferienhaus in wunderbarer Lage

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es hat eine große Terrasse und einen hellen Wintergarten, den wir gern genutzt haben als das Wetter mal nicht so gut war. Küche und Bad sind modern und gut ausgestattet. Von Älgö ließen sich sowohl Stockholm als auch die Schäreninseln prima erreichen. Die Badestelle von Älgö ist sehr schön und fußläufig errechbar. Wir können die Ferienwohnung sehr empfehlen.

Goed verblijf

Heerlijk huisje tussen de bomen, overal zonnige plekjes om te zitten, of lekker lui in de hangmat te liggen. Prachtig bospaadje om naar een zwemplekje te lopen. Stockholm prima bereikbaar met de bus.

In den Schären - und nah an Stockholm!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in diesem idyllisch im Wald auf einer Anhöhe gelegenen Ferienhaus! Älgö hat Inselfeeling, ist aber als Halbinsel mit einer Straße angebunden. Wir konnten draußen auf der Terrasse mit schönem Blick sitzen, drinnen ist alles neu und geschmackvoll gemütlich eingerichtet. Klasse sind auch die Sauna im Gartenhäuschen und der Kamin im Wohnzimmer. Mit dem Bus ist man ab Solsidan in 30‘ in Stockholm/ Slussen —> alles gut, volle Empfehlung.

Stockholm - Stadt und Natur erleben

Tolle und freundliche Verständigung mit der Vermieterin. Das Haus entsprach der Beschreibung und liegt herrlich naturnah. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten jeden Tag die Aussicht von der Terrasse bei Sonnenschein genießen. Stockholm und Umgebung sind eine Reise wert. Das Ferienhaus ist als Basis sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine schöne Unterkunft, um Stockholm und die Schären zu erkunden

Wir haben Stockholm und die Schären genossen. Schönes Haus mit toller Terrasse, gute Anbindung an ÖPNV. Etwas wenig Ablageflächen für Kleidung. Wir hätten am Ende gerne das beschriebene Boot genutzt, wasleider nicht möglich war.

Schön mit Hindernissen

Das Häuschen ist wunderschön, gemütlich, gut ausgestattet und liegt sehr ruhig am Berg. Die Vermieterin lebt nicht vor Ort, ihre Mutter steht als Ansprechpartnerin zur Verfügung und sie ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. In unserem Fall war sie leider nur am 1. Abend anwesend, da sie anschließend für einige Zeit verreist ist. Im Haus selbst gibt es kein Info-Material zum ÖPNV oder zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und in diesem Punkt ist auch die Objektbeschreibung leider sehr dürftig Für Leute, die wie wir ohne Auto anreisen, ist wichtig zu wissen, dass es fußläufig in der Umgebung weder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten noch Restaurants gibt. Man ist immer auf den Bus nach Solsidan oder Saltsjöbaden angewiesen, der maximal einmal pro Stunde -eher seltener- fährt. Von dort kommt man mit der Saltsjöbanan z.B. nach Tippen (Supermarkt) oder Neglinge (Bäcker) bzw. nach Stockholm. Selbst bei guter Planung muss man für einen Trip nach Stockholm incl. 10 Minuten Fußweg zum Bus etwa eine Stunde kalkulieren.

Super Ausgangslage für Hauptstadttrip

Das Haus mit der schönen Terrasse (...man fühlt sich wie im Baumhaus...), dem kleinen Wintergarten und der gemütlichen Ausstattung - inkl. der Sauna kurz vor der Haustür - bietet die ideale Voraussetzung für einen Urlaub in der Nähe der schwedischen Hautptstadt, die mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (bzw. Wasssertaxi) super zu erreichen ist. Der Strand ist fußläufig zu erreichen und echt nett. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wunderbare "stuga"

Kurzer Weg hinunter zum Morgenbad im Meer, zurück mit frischen Zimtschnecken zum Frühstück auf der Veranda. Mehr Schweden geht nicht. Kleines, feines Häuschen mitten in der Natur und Stockholm einen Katzensprung entfernt.

Beautiful House in beautiful surrounding

Everything what we needed was there - dishwashing machine, washing machine, etc.! The bed was very comfortable and the house has a very nice nordic flair. The terace has an amazing view from the hill, where the house is located. We travelled without a car, it took us around 1h to go to Stockholm. The busses from and to Älgö are not very frequent but if you are planning well, it will be no problem. As we didn’t have a car, we chose a food delivery from COOP. It worked sursprisingly well. Thank you Monika for everything!

Erholung pur

Monicas Haus liegt etwas erhöht auf einem kleinen Hügel, umgeben von einem kleinen Nadelwald und mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf die Schären. Ein kleiner Badestrand mit Spielplatz und kleinem Steg sind fussläufig erreichbar (10min). Das Haus versprüht genau den skandinavischen Charme, den man sich für einen Schwedenurlaub wünscht (helle Farben, offener Kamin, etc.). Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen sorgenfreien Urlaub braucht (vollausgestattete Küche, Waschmaschine, WLAN, etc.) und sauber. Das Haus ist perfekt gelegen, um einen Urlaub in den Schären zu genießen, aber auch Ausflüge nach Stockholm machen zu können. Einzig Saltjöbaden hatten wir uns als „Seebad der Stockholmer“ etwas belebter vorgestellt. Außer einem ICA (Supermarkt) und einem eher funktionalen Shopping Center gibt es keinen Stadtkern oder Promenade mit Restaurants und Cafés, die zum „Flanieren“ einladen würde. Daher ein Stern Abzug bei „Lage und Umgebung“. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in guter Lage

Wir haben Monika nicht persönlich angetroffen, dafür hat ihre Mutter uns empfangen. Beide waren aber erreichbar, wenn wie Fragen hatten. Lange war schön, eine Bahnstation war in der Nähe, mit der Stockholm City gut erreichbar war. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt ist, dass in den Zimmern ein paar Schränke gefehlt haben.
