About the host
Hosted by Betsy Castillo
Warm Greetings! We love Leelanau County. After an accidental "stumbling" on the area over a decade ago, our summer memories have been made on the shores of Lake Michigan in Leelanau County ever since. Discovering this special place is like stepping back in time. From the slower pace, to the breathtaking setting, family friendly beaches, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park, and incredible local food and drinks. It has brought us much joy to bring our children here. Hosting your getaway or family vacation means more to us than just providing a place to rest. It is truly an experience that will bring your family back year after year.
Why they chose this property
This cottage is a historical local home. You will fall in love with the quaint porch, the farmhouse hood over the stove, the vintage wood floors, and the updated features of the home. Walking to the local restaurants, wineries, the bakery, and to coffee make the location of this home perfect! The central location on the peninsula allows you to "choose your own adventure", and there are so many yet to be had!
