Great property for Cal Ripken Experience

We had a blast at the Soaring Eagle. It’s the perfect location if you are going to the Cal Ripken Experience. The property was nice and well cared for. The porch outside is magical!

Perfect location!

Great location! Easy to access all the surrounding sights of the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. House was very clean & nicely decorated. Plenty of towels for everyone & the kitchen was fully equipped for us to cook family meals. The porch seating was an added bonus to relax in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again!

Tucked away

Property was great for location and privacy. Even tho your by light #1 you still don't get all road noise etc. Bathrooms for each room is great! The deck also severed as a nice morning coffee spot!

Review of Soaring Eagle

I am a five-star super host, and this contributes to my attention to the details such as lighting, cleanliness, and a supply of hot water. I write this review from a guest-first perspective, and whether the host pays attention to the details in preparation of a stay. The home is in a great location! Easy to access all the surrounding sights of the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Quiet neighborhood too! House was as pictured, charming and appropriately decorated for Christmas. While there were plenty of towels for everyone, and although the house sleeps 10, the hot water runs out after a couple of showers. Then the option is to wait for the water to get hot or take a cold shower. Also had to wait for the water to heat to do the dishes. Plan accordingly! Also, although the kitchen was well equipped, the primary front burner only worked on high, great for boiling water, but tough for frying eggs. The lighting in the home was either daylight bright, or extremely dim. The lower-level bathroom was missing the only bulb in a single-bulb fixture over the sink, and the smaller bedroom on the lower level was missing bulbs and the only bulbs were extremely dim. The TV in the living area would freeze or the voices and lips would get out of synch. While the TV in the second-level bedroom seemed to function normally, the narration for TV in the lower smaller bedroom would not shut off. Would I stay at this property again, probably not.I am hopeful this feedback is taken constructively.
