The Moorings 43 Relax in Luxury - Pet Friendly

This beautifully decorated poolside townhome is waiting for you! Featuring 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths, you'll have plenty of space to soothe your soul.
On the main level, there is a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen. Seating for meals is convenient at either the breakfast bar or the dining table.
The living room is a wonderful place to unwind, surrounded by original artwork by many local artists. There is also a half bath and laundry room on this level.
The primary suite has a King bed and a sliding door to the screened balcony, while the bathroom features an enormous walk-in shower.
Upstairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms: one with a King bed and one with a Queen bed, each featuring a private bathroom. There's also another balcony where you can sit and enjoy the evening breeze from the river.

Moorings 43 features cable TV, WiFi, and washer/dryer, a private elevator, and a private garage!

This is a beautiful condo with a great patio on all floors. It is conveniently located near several restaurants and shops, is clean and comfy and has everything you need for a family vacation. The friends that came with us kept commenting on how nice the condo was and we couldn't agree more. We will definitely stay here again!

I would suggest more bath towels OR places/hooks to dry the towels that had been used. I would also suggest having the key pad for the garage to be set like the front door lock, we couldn’t get into the garage from the outside front.

Fabulous Home

The house was immaculate and spacious. The beds were comfy. The amenities were great. The neighborhood was quiet. Jekyll Island is a wonderful place to visit.

The balconies overlooking the pool were awesome. The kitchen had everything we needed. The unit was very clean, which we don't always find to be the case, especially with pet friendly units. The furniture, appliances, etc. were all in very good condition. The pool area is very clean as well. The location on the island is perfect. Parker-Kaufman was great to work with. They are quick to respond with any questions. Highly recommend this unit and Parker Kaufman.

Beautiful Rental

It is located close to the walking paths (just under the tunnel) so was perfect for active family members. The spacious condo is decorated beautifully. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food all week. We enjoyed morning coffee and meals on the large screened deck. It was great having bathrooms adjoining each bedroom and a laundry room. The small private elevator was a blessing to those of us with bad knees! There is a large garage for parking and storage. You can hear some traffic sitting on the back porch but it isn't bothersome and we didn't hear it inside or at night. Parker-Kaufman was great to work with and went out of their way to be helpful. Our family would definitely stay here again.

Good but not Great - Jekyll not a beach destination

This was a last minute trip for us and it had been many years since we visited Jekyll Island. Found this property on VRBO and it fit our schedule for the 4th. This home is in a a complex that still has new construction going on. Not a big deal but be aware of trucks on your way in. We spent 5 nights there and loved the property. It is spacious and fairly convenient to the center of activity on the island. The rooms are well appointed and each one has their own bathroom which is great. We had a great time and enjoyed the accommodations. The only one complaint we had for the property was that they do not have a shade/curtain/blind for the 1/2 bath downstairs as well as the other windows in the living area. Kind of odd especially since it is well appointed. We rigged up a towel to provide privacy. Finally, one item that may dissuade anyone from visiting Jekyll entirely is that the water clarity just isn't that great. We never went into the water because it was so dirty. It would be worth traveling further south to Amelia or even Jax beach to get a better beach experience. Overall though this was a relaxing spot to wind down for a few days and celebrate the 4th.
