When the Smoky Mountains are calling you, relax and enjoy at The Tippy canoe!
This cute and cozy deluxe cabin is truly Smoky Mountain picturesque! Located only 2 miles up Bluff Mountain, sitting on a knoll surrounded by the serenity of Bluff Mountain, rests this small and cozy 2 bedroom 2 bath deluxe cabin.
You’ll begin your path to Tippy Canoe by driving up a picture perfect driveway leading up to the front porch. The inviting front porch is just one of the fantastic spots offered as a peaceful spot to begin your day with a cup of coffee while enjoying mother nature at its best. Double doors gives access to the foyer. From this point you’ll begin to see the extra touches throughout Tippy Canoe. Items such as custom art work , sliding doors , beautiful lighting and many other special touches, all placed to have our guests feel special about their stay. A cabin to provide a true Smoky Mountain experience!
From the foyer, you can choose the bedroom on the right, which we call the “ Mama Bear-Papa Bear room.” This room offers a queen size bed with a ceiling fan above, a smart TV, closet organizer for clothes, tall ceilings, and a large window for natural light with a beautiful view to the outside. This cozy bedroom also offers a full bathroom with shower/tub combo and a customized sink. A stepping stool is also underneath the sink to help little ones reach the sink if needed.
To the left of the foyer, enter what we refer to as “ The Blue Bear Room”, with the beautiful picture welcoming you. This adorable room offers a comfortable queen bed with ceiling fan above, a large expansive window with a beautiful view, a smart TV and a closet organizer for clothes. A private full bath with a walk in shower is adjacent to this room.
Tippy Canoe accommodates 4 guests comfortably. 2 additional guests can be accommodated via the sectional sofa, but guests will need to bring own bedding for such.
While in the foyer, you’ll get a glimpse of the “ Stars" of Tippy Canoe, whom are our special bears named Louis and Louise. You’ll realize quickly that… OH OH, a “Tippy Canoe” has occurred in the living room! You’ll witness Louis trying very very hard to rescue Louise, and although Louise definitely doesn’t seem too concerned at all, Louis sure shows determination in this rescue mission.
While in the living room, relax on the large sectional sofa or move on to the recliner and relax even more, while watching your favorite television shows on the large smart TV. A electric fireplace is also in the living room for enjoyment on those cool winter evenings.
All TV’s in Tippy Canoe are smart TV’s with Ruku and ready for your own personal streaming passwords for viewing channels. Free wireless Wi-Fi is provided.
Venture from the living room into the well equipped kitchen for preparation of meals. The kitchen has a roll out table, which folds out for additional room, if desired for game time or more dining space. The kitchen has extra cookware items such as a griddle, crockpot, mixing bowls. A coffee pot, which accommodates both coffee pods and full carafe of coffee. A full size microwave for easy quick meals. Kitchen has open shelving for quick access to dishes.

Enjoy your outdoor time either on the front porch, out on the spacious back patio area or the firepit area. The covered back patio is a large area and is a perfect spot for relaxing and watching television. Enjoy the rocking chairs, couch, television or dining at the table for 4. At night time, enjoy the ambience of the glistening cafe' lights. Such a great place to make Smoky Mountain memories!

Great Escape

We loved Tippy Canoe. It was clean, private, close enough to all attractions but tucked far enough away to really enjoy the mountains and nature. Had everything we needed, decorated perfectly, comfortable beds, very attentive host. Would definitely stay again!

Coziest modern cabin

We had an amazing stay at this cabin in the Smoky Mountains! Tucked away in a quiet, secluded area, it was the perfect escape for our group of four. The modern and cute décor made the place feel cozy yet stylish. The cabin was spacious and comfortable, fitting all of us perfectly. The outdoor patio was our favorite spot - relaxing in the fresh mountain air was an absolute highlight. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with a touch of charm, this cabin is it. We can't wait to come back!

The BEST cabin we have ever stayed in!

My family of 4 stayed for 3 nights and we certainly wish it was longer. The cabin was absolutely stunning. They didn’t miss a beat when building or decorating this cabin. It was the best I’ve ever slept. Very safe and secure. We travel to pigeon forge/Gatlinburg often and stay in various cabins however this will be the only one we hope to stay in on our continued trips to the area. Absolutely incredible experience!

Wonderful Stay

Our family had a great time at Tippy Canoe! This cabin makes a great first impression. We were really impressed with the cleanliness and newness of this cabin. The owners obviously put great care and attention to detail into the themed decorations and furniture setup - the cabin even smells woodsy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch and evening s’mores around the fire pit. The owners were very responsive to questions and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The location is nice because it is tucked in the mountain and feels secluded, but it is also conveniently close to the grocery store and Pigeon Forge attractions. We fully recommend the property to anyone looking for a Smoky Mountain getaway.
