Holiday in World Heritage: Russian Colony Alexandrovka.

Directly in the historic center of Potsdam is the magical and luxurious Remise (2 rooms for up to 2 persons - 40 square meters of living space and 15 square meters of private terrace / garden). It combines modern living with the charm of bygone times.

The holiday home with its own entrance is located on 2 floors in the former stable of the in 2017/2018 redeveloped individual monument with private garden and wonderful views of the garden. The residential street is a dead end and traffic-calmed. You live centrally and at the same time with the view into the green in the World Heritage - in the middle of Potsdam's historic city center. The Belvedere on the Pfingstberg with castle and park are just a stone's throw away. The city center can easily be reached on foot in 10 minutes or in 5 minutes by bike. Only a few meters away is the "Russian tearoom", where you can have breakfast or enjoy Russian specialties.

The coach house was renovated with great attention to detail from the ground up. The holiday home "GORKI" im offers contemporary comfort in a historic shell, eg. B. massive (partly historical) castle floorboards, a small design bathroom and a modern kitchen with granite countertop. The house is unique in its effect due to its color scheme and the open style of construction. To the apartment belongs in the historic garden a private area with garden furniture, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the garden of the historic monument and have breakfast, a glass of wine in the evening and after a day with "city pavement" can relax. In autumn, our guests are invited to taste the fruits of the many fruit trees in our garden. All "old varieties" from times Friedrich Wilhelm III.

In the apartment there is 1 bedroom (sleeping gallery) with a double bed (1x 160cm). The bed linen is provided free of charge. The kitchen is u. a. equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove (induction), oven (pyrolysis), microwave, WMF coffee machine, espresso machine (Dolce Gusto), toaster and kettle. The kitchen has no dishwasher, otherwise captivates with its contemporary design and its sophisticated modernity. The compact design bathroom has a spacious shower with rain shower. A basic set of towels we provide on arrival without charge (per guest 1x bath towel large, 1x towel normal).

As part of the Potsdam cultural landscape, the colony is an independent UNESCO World Heritage Site. This exposed location is uniquely beautiful, but also requires restrictions: parking at the house is unfortunately only possible to a limited extent (parking disc 8-18 clock, 2 hours). You can load and unload your vehicle directly next to our property. Afterwards, you can park free of charge at the front of the Russian colony for an unlimited period of time. On the property may park due to the denkmalkonservatorischer conditions no visitors vehicles. We ask for your understanding!

The Russian Colony is a green oasis in the heart of Potsdam. The location in the city center, you can still hear the sounds of an urban location. In the apartments you will not get much of it, because we have put great emphasis on sound insulation. In the historic garden you experience the liveliness of the city center. Due to the urban location, our jewelry box has a very good connection to the public transport, bus stop about 100m from the house, tram in 2 minutes walk. There is a free Wi-Fi connection (100 MBit) available.

We welcome all guests personally and, if desired, gladly help with advice and assistance. I'm a native of Potsdam and have a lot of insider tips ready.

HOUSE RULES: The apartment is suitable for allergy sufferers. Pets are not allowed for this reason. In the apartment there is no smoking. For the FINAL CLEANING we charge € 60, which will be paid on the spot when the keys are handed over. Bed linen and towels are available to our guests free of charge. The quaint and unique single monument was renovated with much effort and attention to detail: We are happy when our guests carefully with "her" deal. We have solid wood flooring throughout the house - we want all our guests to enjoy this unique, beautiful floor for a long time to come. We ask guests to take off their shoes in the house. Of course we have slippers ready for our guests! Arrivals are possible from 15:00, departures must be before 10:00. Attention! The apartment is due to the spatial situation not suitable for physically handicapped people!
