Completely remodeled private unit behind a historic lodge. The lodge has a cute little beer and wine bar and beautiful deck to enjoy the sun. Right across the street from the N Umpqua River. Great place to get away and relax.

Usually staying near or in the mountains nets you with a long drive to go get anything let the bar combined with the deli across the street makes it really easy to stock up on food or just get general necessities without having to hop in your car.
We were pleased the moment we walked through the door! Where to start? The trailer felt bigger on the inside than it looked on the outside. There was all the kitchen supplies that we needed to cook our meals and more (there was even a salad spinner!). Johanne the point-of-contact is so sweet and responsive; she left us some home-baked zucchini bread, which was a heartwarming touch (': We were worried there wouldn't be a couch since one isn't shown in the listing, but there was indeed a couch in the the living room. This VRBO even kind of saved our trip, because sitting on the dining room table was brochures from the national park service on all the trails in the area, information on which I could not find online. We were able to put a better trip than we had planned last minute. We brought our own water in a 7-gallon aquatainer, which was a good move since we thought the water at the Farmhouse tasted a little funky (but the Farmhouse water is all good for everything else like showering, brushing teeth, etc.), plus we needed more than we expected while hiking on hot days.Thank you for the lovely stay at the Farmhouse!
What a cozy little place for a retreat. We would have given John and Johanna 5 stars but weren’t able to use the shower or water because of the heavy sulfur content (and smell) in the water. I hope they can clean it up and we will be back to stay again!
The Farmhouse was wonderful, nice and quiet. Our host Johanne and John were wonderful.
The place was as advertised. Johanne decorated the place perfectly. It was a simple single wide trailer with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and porch. Others have already mentioned the sulfur smell in the tap water. Our host provided bottled water for drinking and cooking. I would give the place 5 stars if it was not for the tap water. If you are looking for high end, go to the city. If you want warm and friendly people, quiet nestled along the North Umpqua river, with a small town feeling, this was a perfect setting for us. The cool afternoons on the porch watching the chickens in the coop were fun to enjoy. Even our dog "ACE" had a great time. Thnks for agreat weekend.
Very personable host. Johanne was very warm and welcoming. Loved loved loved her! Upon our arrival, she had a brownie loaf for us and even gave us some fresh farm eggs and bread for breakfast. Nice touch. We weren't around for the weekend events they tend to plan for the lodge, but would have if able. The unit was very clean and well laid out, was perfect, and great deal for the price. Only issue I had was during our stay, it was very hot. We would leave with A/C on and host husband would enter and turn off ac while gone. My thought is if we are renting, we have right to leave it on...if there's a surcharge, fine. In all fairness, we weren't able to discuss this with Johanne due to our schedule while there. I don't want proprietors entering my room while staying unless asked. Just a personal privacy desire. Communication at the get go in the future easily solves this.
