“Beachwood Cottage” is a fresh, spacious and dog-friendly 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit on the barrier island of Holden Beach, NC. Close proximity to the beautiful shore of the Atlantic Ocean or fishing along the Intracoastal Waterway. Peek at the ocean while enjoying the sunrise AND sunset from the expansive deck complete with outside dining space for everyone.

The open-concept living room/kitchen will comfortably accommodate group gatherings and meals made from a well-stocked kitchen. Ground level outdoor space includes a private shower area, room to store your beach gear/bikes as well as a charcoal grill for the pitmaster. Ample parking is available.

Expertly designed for up to 10 guests, this is the top floor 4BR/2B unit with all living space located on the 2nd floor of the duplex.

Bedroom #2 (Queen Bed) contains a full-size washer & dryer closet
Bedroom #3 (Twin over Full Bunk + Twin Trundle) has a loveseat for the perfect “hangout”
Bedroom #4 (Twin over Full Bunk) outfitted with curious children's books for all ages

Come enjoy the relaxed east end of “the Family Beach” while sharing space in a Sea Turtle Sanctuary. Please note, linens for the twin trundle bed are not included in the linen service. The ground floor and parking in front of the garage is occupied by a permanent resident and not available to rent.

Pet Friendly: $250 Non-refundable pet fee is required. A dog friendly home is limited to a single dog or 2 dogs with a combined weight not to exceed 50 lbs, unless otherwise pre-approved by PROACTIVE Vacations. Guests must crate pets when they are left in the home unattended.

Great place!

The house was so clean! Decorated just enough to make the house cozy, but not too much to make it cluttered. The linens that were provided were very clean. They also provided a care package that included cleaning supplies, paper, towels, toilet paper, etc. to get you started for the week. Beds were super comfy. Kitchen is stocked with necessities. I was hesitant about someone living downstairs but no issues with that at all. The house is a very short walk to the beach and just a little further walk to the businesses by the bridge. These are not negatives at all just giving future renters a heads up: bring your own bath towels and washcloths. There are no beach items that other renters left behind that you can borrow. The house is very much a furnished blank slate for you to move into for your stay. Thanks for letting us rent your home!!

Great location

Very comfortable furnishings and well equipped with kitchen supplies. It was an easy walk to to beach with our beach cart. Quiet street close to the restaurants and bridge. Great water pressure in showers but no bathtub if you have little ones. Covered porch area with large picnic table and nice outdoor (uncovered) seating. Great place to stay at Holden Beach!

Very nice place must be terrific in summer

We paid enough to rent the place and we toutgh that we could have one single roll of paper towell and may be one portion of soap for the dishwasher. When we arrives at 06:30 pm à women was still in the place and asked us to wait for a few minutes!..but no problems there!..when we entered the place we found the floors disgusting realy sticky and dirty!. But still i will say it’s a very nice place!…
