Elbtalauen, comfortable 4* vacation home with 2 separate apartments of 100 m² each

In the middle of the Elbtalauen biosphere reserve and only 2.5 km as the crow flies from the Elbe is our beautiful "Ferienhaus am Brink" in a quiet location in the small village of Pinnau with its over 220 year old farms.
In 2018, in our 100-year-old village house, two modern and comfortable apartments with current technology and gas central heating were built, newly furnished and furnished in a total renovation on the entire ground and upper floors.
The framework, exposed ceiling beams and wooden floorboards were preserved.

GROUND FLOOR:
The over 100 m² apartment for 4 people has 2 bedrooms with double beds 180 x 200 cm and attached bathroom with window with 90 x 90 cm shower, towel dryer, sink with vanity unit, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer; WC and in one bathroom an additional bathtub 180 cm.

The cloakroom and a guest toilet are located in the spacious entrance area with a small veranda.

The open fitted kitchen with induction hob, oven, extractor hood, sink, dishwasher and fridge-freezer is separated by half-timbered beams and is equipped with all the dishes, glasses, kitchen equipment and cleaning materials necessary for a 4-person household (mixer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, etc.).

The living-dining area with an upstream 30 m² south terrace and additional covered seating area with infrared heater has access to the 700 m² ingrown property with old trees and lawn.
Garden furniture and parasol are available.

In the living-dining area there is a fireplace (firewood included), a large HD flat screen TV with swivel arm, a dining table for 6 people, sideboard, TV cabinet and couch for 4 people.

Free wifi. A large lockable equipment and bike room with charging sockets and a room with washing machine and dryer are available in the extension.
2 parking spaces are available on the property.

UPPER FLOOR: SEE OUR SEPARATE DISPLAY!
(The apartment on the upper floor for 5 people has a separate entrance and is accessible via a steel external staircase.
From the entrance area with cloakroom you have access to a bedroom with two single beds 90 x 200 cm under the sloping roof and opposite to the assigned bathroom with window, 90 x 90 cm shower, 2 washbasins with vanity unit, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer and toilet.

This part of the apartment can be separated again in the hallway with a sliding door.

Behind is the living-dining area with half-timbering, visible ceiling beams and access to the large south-facing balcony with awning and balcony furniture for 5 people
The living-dining area is identical to the ground floor with a fireplace, large HD flat-screen TV, etc.

Here, too, there is an open kitchen, identical to the one on the ground floor, but here the stove has a ceramic hob.

The rear bedroom with 180 x 200 cm double beds has a separate dressing room with an antique bed 105 x 180 cm under the sloping roof.
The associated large, bright bathroom with 4 windows, half-timbered walls is equipped with a 180 cm bathtub, 90 x 130 cm shower, wash basin with base cabinet, hair dryer and cosmetic mirror.

A separate heating and equipment room is available, WiFi is free. On the ground floor there is only a lockable bike and equipment room with charging socket for this apartment, in front of which there is a separate barbecue area.)

OUR HOLIDAY HOUSE:
Our house is an ideal place for cyclists, peace seekers, and hobby photographers.
A third of the storks in Lower Saxony live here in the Elbe valley meadows.
Thousands of geese rest here in autumn and year-round herons, lapwings, curlews and red kites can be observed, as well as deer, fox, rabbit and badger. The beaver has also been resident in large numbers for a long time.

Well-developed cycle paths along the B 195, the Elbe Höhenweg or the Elbe long-distance cycle path on both sides of the Elbe from Tangermünde to Lauenburg as well as numerous circular tours between 15 and 50 km offer cycling enjoyment through one of the most beautiful landscapes in Germany! It takes less than 30 minutes by bike from Pinnau to the Elbe and from there by bike and pedestrian ferry to Hitzacker, the beautiful half-timbered town on the other side of the Elbe. The Elbe can be explored with passenger ships, barges or covered rafts, for example from Dömitz, 14 km away.
Canoeing and fishing is also possible.
The forest swimming pool in Jabel or the large outdoor pool in Dannenberg provide refreshment in summer, the beach club at the Dömitz harbor offers a beach atmosphere.

Day trips to Hamburg, Schwerin, and Lüneburg or to the Baltic Sea are available by car.
Worthwhile destinations in the surrounding area are the Dömitzer fortress, palace and palace park Ludwigslust and the Rundlingsdörfer in the Wendland.

Over 15 of the most diverse museums in the area can be visited. In early summer, artists open their studios in dozens of locations for the "Cultural Country Party". There are early historical excavations in Hitzacker and on the Hohbek. There are concerts in Ludwigslust, Dömitz, Bleckede and Hitzacker and for riding enthusiasts a visit to the Redefin stud is a must!
