Welcome to Cactus Moon Casita. Located in the serene community of Sky Valley Resort, with 13 hot mineral pools and spas, fitness rooms and sweeping mountain views.

This home is very comfortable and spacious. It has two bedrooms
and one bath. Living/Dining area and an additional screened in porch that’s great for relaxing, playing games, stretching or having a family meal.

All updated décor with bright and fun colors. The beds and linens are ultra comfortable, you’ll sleep great!

Dogs welcome.

Minimum age to book is 25+. A photo ID and signed contract are required within 48 hours of booking to secure rental.

No parties, events or loud groups allowed.


The House:
Located directly across the street from the fitness center and amazing hot springs pools. Enjoy them during the day or underneath the stars at night. Their warmth combined with the views of the mountains equals a lot of happiness.
With this prime location, there is no need to trek across the park in a wet bathing suit!

The hot water for all of our resort’s 13 pools and tubs comes from natural hot springs, which erupt from the earth below us at constant temperatures between 115 and 146 degrees Fahrenheit.

Naturally infused with healing minerals, this water is part of an ideal treatment for a number of health ailments. Hydrotherapy has been used for centuries in China, India and Egypt to treat stress, back pain, arthritis and sore muscles.

In the modern era of medicine, we know that hot water creates increased blood flow, which is the heart’s way to cool the body down. Along the way, that blood flow detoxifies the body and strengthens the heart. Today, scientific studies link hydrotherapy to effective treatment plans for modern problems such as weight control, heart failure and insomnia.

You will enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, towels, yoga mats, pool towels, local guide books, iron & ironing board and cable. This is a great place to chill at and relax after a busy day of enjoying the surrounding area. Everyday you wake up to a Mountain View and have access to several walking paths into the desert.

Location:
Sky Valley Resort is a gated community of mobile and manufactured homes.
This is a remote location 30 minutes from Palm Springs, Palm Desert and La Quinta, and 40 minutes from Joshua Tree.

This resort is 7 minutes away from a small market and 20 minutes from any major grocery store, it is highly recommended that you drop into one of the many grocery stores on your way into Sky Valley. Trader Joes, Whole Foods and Sprouts are all in the valley along with major grocery stores such as Ralph's, Albertsons, Stater Bros. Costco, Sam's and Walmart.

Pickleball and Horse Shoes:
There are fantastic courts at Sky Valley. You will find the people very welcoming and some are pretty good players too! (No equipment provided)

**Please note that this is a dog friendly home. Although the house will be thoroughly cleaned after each stay please be aware in the case that someone in your party has severe pet allergies.

Pets:
Please inquire for approval prior to booking.
Maximum 1 dog (no size limit but please note that this is a tiny home).
One time Fee $50 per stay
This fee covers extra cleaning required.
Pets must be up to date on vaccines & flea/tick free.
Cats & other animals are not considered.

We are lucky to have a full-size stove, oven, microwave and refrigerator.

The Bedrooms:
There are 2 rooms each has an amazing Queen-size bed.
The second bedroom is accessible with a few steps. To get to the bathroom from the second bathroom, you need to either go through the first bedroom or walk through the screened-in porch and back into the living room. If you get up a lot during the night, stay in the primary bedroom :)

The Bathroom:
There is 1 bathroom with a bath/shower combo.
Due to the small size of the water heater, be aware that the hot water may not last as long.
Pocket Doors:
This home has 2 pocket doors so you can close the bedroom off from the living room or the bedroom and bathroom. It makes things nice and quiet.

The Dining Room:
There is counter-top with 2 tall chairs as well as a small dining table.
There are 2 folding chairs in the hall closet for more seating.

The Living Room:
This is a cozy spot. There is complimentary Roku, Netflix and Hulu for your viewing pleasure. We ask that you use the guest setting to log in.

WIFI and Cell Service:
WIFI is included with the unit.
Verizon cell service seems to work best here. Other carriers may have spotty reception.

Extras:
Should you forget any essentials, I provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, body wash, hand soap well as shampoo and conditioner.

Parking:
There is one dedicated space in front of the house.

The Resort:
Other than the fantastic pools and hot tubs, Sky Valley Resort also has beautiful desert walking trails, fire pits, onsite concerts and a weekly Farmer's Market.
