Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:
7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)
10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)
The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.

Everything about the property was perfect. The pictures I don’t think accurately explain just how close you are to the beach. The street is a dead end with a sand path to the water. The beach is right there and so is the pool. Couldn’t have been more perfect. Very quiet and safe feeling, hardly even saw other people except out on the beach, pool was typically unoccupied. We rented a golf cart and also had a car but you only get 1 parking spot, it was fine though we were able to pull the car up far enough to squeeze in behind it if there wasn’t other space on the street. Fully functioning fridge with ice and water so didn’t need to worry about that. Zero complaints and would 100% recommend this place to anyone going to AMI. The proximity to the beach and pool right out your window and being on the ground floor was just so convenient with a toddler especially. The entire island just felt very relaxed and safe. A feeling you truly can’t beat.

There were a lot of people in the pool from properties across the street. They were playing music loud and after 10 pm. Someone parked their truck on the street with a hitch sticking out into my parking space. I could barely get into my assigned my parking space. The condo was perfect for me, but I won't return in the summer.

We had a lovely stay. We actually met the owners upon arrival. Such a sweet couple and a lovely group of friends that also stay at the property. Newly updated unit right next to the pool. Spent lots of time both at the beach (steps away) and the pool. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of pool towels provided and had two beach chairs available. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to AMI.
