The location of the house is very private and it is easy to reach neighboring towns for shopping or entertainment. The house is nicely decorated and all the bathrooms have been renovated, and the beds were very comfortable. The outside seating area with a solo fire pit is the perfect place to relax and star gaze. The reason for our three star rating was that the house had not been well cleaned for our arrival. Also, perspective renters should be aware that there are steps up and down to every room on the main living floor, so it is not a great house for those with mobility or balance issues.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Fox Lodge! The fox-themed décor throughout the house was a charming touch and gave the place a lot of personality. The home was incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and comfortable sleeping arrangements for our group. We especially enjoyed spending our evenings grilling and relaxing around the fire pit. It was the perfect setup for a weekend getaway. The kitchen was also very well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals without feeling like we were missing anything.Overall, Fox Lodge was comfortable and a great place to unwind. We'd definitely stay here again!

A terrific home in the forest!

Beautiful home surrounded by grass and trees. The owner has thought of every convenience and we had a wonderful time. The house is quiet and peaceful, but and easy drive to urban areas, restaurants, stores, etc. We hope to stay there again!

We had a family get together for a couple days prior to Christmas. There were 5 adults and 3 children (3 and under in age). The host was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. The property was extremely comfortable, well stocked kitchen, modern bathrooms, wood burning fireplace (firewood provided). The property even had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree for us all to enjoy. Host thought of everything to make certain we would enjoy our stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay

This property completely met our needs. We were attending a 3-day family event, so we didn't do much cooking & I can't speak to activities in the area. As mentioned in another review, the property has a lot of levels (up or down 1-2 steps) in the main living area, but that was not an issue for us.

Property was very nice, up to date, fine amenities. It would not be a good place for elders with mobility issues or toddlers- too many steps- split level, sunken living room

Great location to Kingston

Pics were spot on. Had everything we needed. Communication with owner was great with given directions with property. Just wish the listing noted the spit level with stairs as we were thankful that our parents did not join us as this would’ve made the layout difficult for them to manage. My only complaints were the floors were not mopped only swept and no mention of Ring in use.

Nice but tricky!

The house was very nice and very clean. The location was great! The only drawback for seniors like us, was all the ups and downs in the house. This was a bit tricky for older adults. Also, I felt it a bit odd that all of the bathrooms were connected to a bedroom. It would have been nice to have one bathroom that you didn't get to through a bedroom.
