SPECTACULAR!

The Octagon has it all! Beautiful lake, great kayaks and canoe, close to Eagle River and all sorts of restaurants/shops/grocery, amazing cabin design, beautiful high end furniture including a Knoll Womb Chair (incredible!), clean, nice bathrooms, great kitchen, inside and outside wood fire, a sky full of stars at night, eagles/woodpeckers/chickadees, comfortable beds, and complete dark and silent nights. Our experience here was inspiring and we hope to be back!

Wonderful spot!

The Octagon was a wonderful home! Very retro and comfortable interior - loved the sliding doors all over the house to let in that beautiful northern air. The kitchen was spacious and we utilized the grill and firepit daily. The lake itself was great for fishing and swimming, as well as kayaking and canoeing. Our kids had a great time swimming in the shallow, sandy parts. Overall it was an amazing place and we can't wait to return!

Perfect lake getaway

Our family of 7 really enjoyed staying at the Octagon. It’s a beautiful, well decorated and appointed house in a great location minutes away from Eagle River. Kayaks and paddle board were super fun, and sitting on the pier just relaxing and watching the birds and fish was lovely. We also enjoyed playing games, especially the Chexx hockey game, and sitting by the fire pit. A great house in an excellent location. What could be better?

Perfect Escape

The house is decorated in such a stylish yet comfortable way! The Octagon has gorgeous views and is a large enough space to make cabin life feel luxurious. We loved it.

Shooting Stars at Octagon House

Staying here is a dream. Comfortable accommodations, great for families and for relaxing. We were there during the Persieds and watched the meteor showers from the end of the pier. Sublime. Kayaking on the private lake was also a daily event. Easy access to the UP for day trips too. Can't wait to go again next year.
