The place was beautiful. Remote and full of scenery. And abundance of wildlife was everywhere. From a bear, to deer. The home itself well kept and easily accommodated 12 people. The home is very nicely set up for large groups and is very close to Blue mountain ski resort if someone is interested in that. We go back there again.

Awesome family time

This is one of the best cabins we stayed so far .Has everything we need and clean .Well maintained and spacious for the family of 4 with grown up kidsThe best part is the locationPerfect for spring summer and fall.Beautiful hikes and view .The owner was very responsive and friendly.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Mountain Hideaway. Plenty of room for 7 adults and 6 kids. The location was great, and Tom was very kind, responsive, and made everything very easy for us. Would definitely stay again!

Driving up to the property we couldnt believe how beautiful! Great mountain views, secluded and beautiful cornfields. There were plenty of sleeping arrangements throughout the home. 4 bedrooms on the second floor with a master suite on the bottom. Enough bathrooms for our family of 12. The kitchen had all the supplies needed for cooking. The fire pit was huge & spacious for all of us. The gameroom in the basement was a fun addition. My younger boys enjoyed the arcade games. The porch was perfect for coffee in the morning. You can even catch the sunset! We plan on booking here again next year!

Amazing place to stay

My family/friends and I had an amazing time. We have rented the house for several years and always have an amazing time. Plenty of space for a large group. The owner is very responsive. Will be renting for next year again.

Cozy Retreat with Stunning Mountain Views: A Perfect GetawayWe had a great stay at this mountain rental! The house was clean, and the views of the mountain were beautiful. The location was 15 mi utes from the bottom of blue mountain ski area. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive, ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay. Whether it was answering questions or providing local recommendations, they made us feel welcome and taken care of.

Amazing views and great location

we have gone here for 3 years now and keep coming back. Wonderful for our growing family that it can accomodate infants up to "older" adults. we love the firepit, lots of hiking, close to skiing, wineries (found that this year and will go back) and also just tried the ATV rentals nearby. The only potential improvement for us would be newer mattresses. lots of decor updates this year added to its charm. It is an older place but we LOVE that, very cabin in the woods feel. the views are just amazing, when it snows, there is awesome sledding opportunities. will continue to go back.

Overall it was great

The house was as described - secluded with plenty of space to relax. Also enjoyed the large decks. The grill was a nice/clean Weber gas grill. We had 10 people total and there was plenty of hot water. My only suggestion/tip would be to update the kitchen pots/pans/knives/etc..and maybe add a dishwasher. It took some effort to get the right pots/pans/knives to cook for 10, if we have 20+ it would have been hard to prepare that much food. Tom was great to work with and very responsive. Check-in/out was seamless. And last comment, the house had good water - hard to describe to someone normal haha, but if you're the type that notices the water quality like me, you'll be happy with the water here.

Amazing blue mountain ski home

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming, convenient Vrbo rental, just a 15-minute drive from Blue Mountain Resort in PA. It was the perfect getaway! The location couldn’t have been better – not only was it close to the resort, but the surrounding area provided a quiet, peaceful retreat, making it the best of both worlds for relaxation and adventure.The home itself was spacious, clean, and incredibly well-equipped. It felt like a cozy home away from home, with comfortable furniture, modern amenities, and a fully stocked kitchen that made cooking meals a breeze. We especially appreciated the well-appointed bedrooms and the large living area, which was great for family downtime after a day of skiing.One of the best parts of the stay was the proximity to Blue Mountain Resort. We spent the day skiing, and it was so convenient to be able to easily head back to the rental for a hot meal and to unwind without a long drive.The host was extremely responsive, providing clear instructions for check-in and being available for any questions we had. They made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the little touches, like extra blankets and games, made our time even more enjoyable.

Great Ski Weekend!!

Wonderful property! It was perfect for our family. The house was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the family room was comfortable with room for everyone. An added plus was the game room downstairs with some fun video games. My 4 grandsons had a ball!! The mountain views were spectacular! You could see Blue Mountain Resort all lit up at night in the distance. Despite the warmer temperatures, the skiing was pretty good and the property is only about 20 minutes from the resort. We will definitely book again and shoot for time in January or February when the ski conditions are a bit better. We were a group of 10 people (6 adults and 4 children ages 4, 5, 6 and 8). Everyone loved the place!
