Your accommodation is located on the top floor of a rural single-family house on the edge of the Dingdener / Büngerner Heide nature reserve.

The area is flat and extensive and offers ideal conditions for your bike or hiking tour. The landscape is characterized by grassland, but there are also extensive forest areas - pure nature.

Nearby you have access to the "Hohe Mark" bicycle routes, the "agri-cultura adventure route", the "3 rivers cycle path" and the "Niederrhein route".

Discover the variety of regional products on the numerous farm shops in the area or stop off at the farm cafes.
The nearest shop is Hof Schäfer, 3 km away.

In the village of Dingden, 5 km away, you will find all shops for daily needs, as well as restaurants, cafes and restaurants. The outdoor pool is open in the summer months.

From there you can make a detour to the Zwillbrocker Venn, where the northernmost breeding colony of pink flamingos is located. The small baroque church in Zwillbrock is also worth seeing.

If you are interested in the local bird life, there are very good observation opportunities. In 2018, two pairs of storks bred in the Dingden Heath and also the curlew, which was protected by the EU, breeds in the wet meadows.
