The Rougaroux Lodge is located at Venice Marina, Venice, LA. She is a unique retrofitted tugboat that has been converted into a sportsman's dream lodge. She sleeps up to 13 people, has 6- bedrooms, 2- full baths, washer/dryer, 500 lb ice machine, fish cleaning station, Cypress Bar with a 55 inch TV and balcony overlooking the water, boat dock, parking lot, Starlink wireless internet with >200MB speeds and much more! Bring your boats or have your fishing charter pick you up and drop you off at the lodge. Come enjoy the Cajun dream!

Highly mediocre is how I would describe this place. The rooms, spaces etc. were not near what the photos indicated. Rooms were smaller, the ceilings were barely over 6’ tall. We had some tall guys in the group and they continually bumped their heads. There was a terrible smell on the first floor back porch and I found a sack of rotten shrimp in the fish cleaning sink. I would not stay there again.
