Great little adorable place! It was close to our event and just as expected. Enjoyed the ac was lovely. Really enjoyed the fun beach theme:) It was convenient nice addition to our time away from regular life. Thanks
St Paul cabana property was an excellent 10 day stay for me and my pup. House was also comfortable and accommodating for my occasional visiting family /friend. Fenced yard was a huge plus with a dog. House was centrally located for most of my appointments in the Cities/suburbs. Located 5 min (drive) to Thompson Co Park and connected to Kaposia for you disc golfers. Justin was attentive, friendly and responsive. Street parking was available and had no issues. A few neighbors around the block have wild flowers growing instead of lawns so when not flowering can look a bit unkept. I walked the neighborhood daily with my little dog and found it to be quiet and respectful. Next door neighbor was respectful and quiet as well. There is a vacant lot on other side of home which offers more privacy. Would definitely stay at Justin’s property again.!
The small house was just the right size for us and our dog. Very clean and well maintained. Fenced-in yard was great for our pooch. Easy check-in. Would definitely stay again.
Our stay was enjoyable. However, there were some additional things which would have enhanced our experience such as a box of Kleenex, a clock in the living room or kitchen, a trash can in the bathroom is a must, a spoon rest in the kitchen, kitchen dish soap dispenser and sponge holder, a drying rack for hand washed dishes as opposed to using the dishwasher and pot holders
Perfect place to stay for our family of 4 (Mom, Dad, 11 and 13 year old). The kids each got their own bedroom and the place was clean and stayed nice and cool through the late August heat. The comfortable beds were a great place to get a good night's sleep after a long day of adventures. Host was very quick to respond to any and all questions we had. Would definitely recommend!
This place was absolutely amazin cozy clean very peaceful vibes great location quiet neighbors. Awesome renter as well !!! Everything about this home was PERFECT!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!! i will be stayin here again in the future!!!!
Very convenient location close to downtown St Paul. House was adequate for our family of 6. House and yard are a little run down but pretty much everything was as advertised.
The cabana sleeps 6 comfortably, but with one bathroom and no real kitchen table, I'm glad we only had three adults there.
It was clean. It was comfortable. It served us well.
I used to live in MN and drove back this week with my 2 dogs to visit family and friends. The place was super clean and well stocked with necessities, and the internet was good enough for me to work remote during my stay. The dogs loved running around in the backyard and the neighborhood was quiet and safe, while being conveniently close to major roads for easy travel to and from the place. Plenty of sidewalks for daily walks and plentiful street parking for me and visitors. Would definitely stay here again!
The house had an unpleasant odor. The air did not work. Laundry was accessed outside in a space under the house. Neighbors were loud and up all night long.
Clean home, nicely decorated. Plenty of room for the six of us. We had an a/c issue and they had someone there to look at it immediately. No more issues after that. Messages were responded to right away which was appreciated.
There is street parking but sometimes we had to park down the street a bit because other cars would be parked in front.
It would've been nice if it had a dining table and also one of the bedrooms is just inside bathroom door so if the bathroom is occupied you couldn't get to the bedroom and if someone used the bathroom overnight it woke you up.
Overall it was a great experience though and I would recommend.
Pros:
- Clean
- The host replied immediately when messaged
- Short and cheap Uber rides to downtown Minneapolis
Cons:
- House smelled weird
- Toilet didn’t flush correctly
- One of the bedrooms is literally in the bathroom
- ‼️The neighbors are crazy. We kept a bedroom window open during the night bc it was quite warm and we could hear them yelling and banging around in the garage from midnight until 3am.‼️
Other:
- Personally, I found the nautical theme and DIY paint job a bit much.
- If your goal is just a place to crash at the end of the day, this is a great space for you.
Overall the house was cute and beached themed, reasonably priced, and was dog friendly. However, the neighborhood is sketchy, with a lot of “extracurricular” activities across the street during ALL hours of the day and night, including people sitting in cars in front of the house for extended periods of time (day and night). This made us very uncomfortable and we ended up leaving almost 2 days early for feeling unsafe. As for the house itself, the lawn was not mowed and the mosquitos were bad, the hot/cold was backwards on the tub, our daughter got locked in the bedroom and couldn’t get in unlocked (bedroom located in the bathroom), the back outside stairs are slimy and very slippery when it rained, and the basement had to remain unlocked due to not having a key (found a set of keys laying on the basement shelf on our last day in the house, they unlocked all the doors including bypassing security pad lock on the front door - anyone could have walked in the basement and grabbed them to enter the house, that was the final factor into us leaving that night).
The house is wonderful, it had everything that was needed for our stay. Super cute interior and design. The backyard is nice and relaxing. Neighbors are quiet and friendly. Owner is quick to respond and you can see they care about the home and their guests. We will definitely be booking this home again for our next visit.
