Look forward to a relaxing holiday in a house with only 2 apartments and a large swimming pool, which can be used in winter thanks to electric pool heating. A private veranda screened with a mosquito net invites to long evenings. Sun loungers and outdoor seating offer plenty of opportunities to relax. A BBQ grill leaves no grill wishes open.
The property is completely surrounded by a high fence, giving you complete privacy.

The house is located in a quiet, well-kept and very nice American neighborhood. Shops, supermarkets, restaurants and attractions are nearby and are easily accessible by car. The large water park "Sunsplash" is in the immediate vicinity.

Your apartment "Apartment Westside"

The Westside has a large living / dining area with fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher!), Dining table for 6 people and a cozy TV area with sofa bed.
From the hall you get into the bathroom (shower, toilet) and in the two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have American-style king beds.
The guests of the Westside is also the garage of the house.

Please note: the house is a duplex (semi-detached). The outdoor area is thus shared.

The house was very clean but the beds are not good. Both king beds have a hump in the middle. Internet was good but their was only one TV and it was very small. The stove is extremely old. It worked but it was from the 70's.

Dog friendly

We were looking for a reasonabley priced place in Cape Coral that allowed pets. We have a dog that weighs over 20 pounds. This was the best, if not only place that was both. The large apartment was very clean, bed comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen. Open floor plan. Some things were a bit dated, couch. But a nice new tile floor thru out. We knew the good sized pool was shared with the other apartment in the duplex. The washer and dryer are too, located in an enclosed area close to the screened in patio. We happened to meet the friendly owners, they were assuring that the pool heater was working. We would stay here again.

Inaccurate communications

After leaving the property the owner notified us that the property manager notified her that the cleaning team told her about some urine stains on a throw rug in the back bedroom, which we closed the door to when we entered the property since we did not need to be using that room. In addition, we were told that hairs and spots were found on the couch, which were being blamed on our pets. To begin with, we were told the house rules were no pets on furniture and in respect to that we placed an army blanket on the couch and placed our luggage on top, as well as a gate around, so our pets could not get on the furniture. These statements are false since the access was not available to our pets in either case. We are travelers with VRBO and have never had anything but a great rating. Since we left the apartment in the condition we found it in, we were very surprised and disappointed to get this message from the owner. We have contacted VRBO and reported this to them.

My family and I really liked the property and where it was located, it was very roomy and decorative. I only have a few flaws, 1. would be the toilet paper was basically see threw so we had to go out and get our own. 2. the beds are very hard, even with a mattress topper. 3. it would of been nice if there was actually coffee to use for the coffeepot. 4. the pool was dirty and there wasn't anything to clean it out with. but overall the place was very nice, the owner was very friendly and prompt about responding back to me.

Beste Unterkunft unserer Rundreise

Wir haben Anfang März 2017 im Rahmen einer Florida Rundfahrt mit unserer 10 Monate alten Tochter 5 Tage im Appartement Westside verbracht und würden sofort wieder buchen. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Sauberkeit des Appartements sowie das Engagement der Eigentümer. Die Anreise und der Check-in erfolgten dank der im Voraus erhaltenen Informationen problemlos. Vor Ort gibt es eine Hausverwalterin die jederzeit bei Problemen erreichbar ist. Es gibt einen Ordner mit vielen Hinweisen und Tipps, unter anderem auch Restaurants in der Umgebung. Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig und nett, wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl hier gefühlt. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, in der Küche ist alles ausreichend vorhanden und es ist wirklich sehr sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben auf unserer Rundreise in allen möglichen Unterkünften von Kreuzfahrtschiff über AirBnB bis hin zum 4* Hotel übernachtet, das Appartement Westside war mit Abstand am saubersten. Toll war auch, dass der Pool beheizt ist und somit immer eine angenehme Temperatur hatte. Was für uns wichtig war: es gab ein Babybett und einen Babystuhl, zudem einen Außenbereich der geschützt war, sodass wir mit unserer Tochter draußen sitzen konnten ohne befürchten zu müssen dass sie jede Sekunde in den Pool springt. Von uns gibt es die volle Punktzahl, wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben.

Toller Urlaub!

- Bilder und Beschreibung des Hauses stimmen zu 100 % mit der Realität überein. - Das Haus war gepflegt, sauber und ordentlich. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. - Die Vorbereitung und Anreiseinfos verlaufen optimal, es kann nichts schief gehen. - Der deutsche Bäcker in Cape Coral ist echt Klasse, für uns ideal, da wir mit dem ameriaknischen Brot so unsere Schwierigkeiten haben. - Die Grillmöglichkeit im Haus haben wir oft genutzt, funktioniert auch alles super. Die Einkaufsmärkte lassen ja auch keine Wünsche offen. - Da wir einen Mietwagen hatten, konnten wir auch problemlos die Gegend erkunden. Miami, Everglades, Tampa, St. Petersbourg usw. und Inselwelt, alles wunderbar zu erreichen. - Aber auch im hübschen Pool haben wir unsere Badevergnügungen genossen. - Einziges Manko: Die Pumpe ist recht laut. Läuft aber nicht die ganze Zeit und nachts gar nicht. - Ein Objekt, welches wir ruhigen Gewissens weiter empfehlen können.

Schönes Cape Coral

Sehr schöne Doppelhaushälfte in ruhiger Lage in Cape Coral nahe des Wasserparks. Alle Angaben bezüglich der Lage und der Ausstattung sind korrekt. Das Haus war Sauber,geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter und zur Hausverwaltung vor Ort waren sehr angenehm. Wenn es Probleme gibt einfach anrufen oder eine E-Mail schreiben, eine Antwort lässt nicht lange auf sich warten. Wir hatten auf jeden Fall herliche 18 Tage, alles was man für den täglichen gebrauch benötigt ist innerhalb von 5-10 Min gut zu erreichen. Zu den Stränden in Fort Myers Beach oder Sanibel Island muss man je nach Verkehr 30-45 einrechnen. Bomann`s Beach auf Sanibel Island ist der Hit. Muscheln ohne Ende, sehr schöner Strand, bitte Sonnenschirm und evtl. einen Stuhl mitnehmen , der Strand bietet keinerlei Schatten. Es ist schon ein Erlebnis wenn man hier ins Wasser geht und keine fünzig Meter vor einem Schwimmen die Delphine vorbei.Public Parking und Sanitäre Anlagen liegen auf dem Weg zum Strand. Parkkosten liegen bei 3$ die Std.Wenn man bis 10:00h da ist bekommt man noch gut einen Parkplatz, danach wird es schwieriger. Die Outlets sind innerhalb von 30-60Min alle gut zu erreichen. Wer Essen gehen möchte ist auf dem Cape Coral Pkwy gut auf gehoben. Sea food gibts bei Lobster Lady, Italienisch bei Papa Joe, Mexikanisch bei Iguana Mia, wenn man da draußen Sitzt und halb recht gegenüber schaut, sieht man RibCity(sehr gute Rippchen,man braucht kein Besteck,das Fleisch fällt so ab). In Rtg Cape Coral Bridge kommt noch Perkins und auf der anderen Seite Ford Garage. Alle Lokale haben wir getestet und es war immer sehr lecker. Ach ja, Bennet´s Roast&Fresh ist auch zu empfehlen. Eine Aussergewöhnliche Tagestour ist, wenn man sich ein Boot mietet und die Strände von Fort Myers Beach und Sanibel Island selbst erkundet. Hierzu liegt ein Bootsverleih direkt am Cape Coral Pkwy Rtg Fort Myers auf der rechten Seite ca 200Meter vor der Brücke. Wir hatten wirklich eine ruhige und entspannte Zeit und werden bestimmt wieder kommen. Das Feriendomizil ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu Empfehlen, was ich auch schon an Kollegen gemacht habe. Ich wünsche auf jeden Fall allen, die dort hin Reisen, eine schöne Zeit.
