This home is close to both downtown Lewes and downtown Rehoboth Beach with easy access to many nearby beaches. You will discover great boutique shops, local eateries, arts, entertainment, and breweries in the downtown areas. Find yourself in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of a tennis.

Inside you'll find a bright interior with lots of natural light. The open and airy concept throughout promotes togetherness and great conversation. Cozy up by the fireplace with a good book or host a movie night on the large TV in the living area. The group's chef will love preparing meals and on-the-go snacks in the full kitchen, complete with all the counter space you could ever want. The main bedroom is comfortable and spacious, boasts ample storage, and an elegant en suite bathroom with a jetted tub and walk-in shower. The back porch is excellent for watching sunsets, and the firepit is perfect for telling ghost stories and watching the stars come out.

Great Space and Location

It was perfect for 7 people, close to beaches and great little quiet space. The only notable things was the outdoor outlet in front of the house wasn't working, and the beds are firm (which the guests preferred softer). Great patio with fire pit and grill, and an excellent house overall! Perfect spot for a weekend getaway.

Great vacation home

A short drive to anywhere you would like to go. Quiet neighborhood to relax and enjoy time away. Our dogs enjoyed the yard and we enjoyed the deck.

Good Location

Overall the location is great. All beaches within close proximity and a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. The house itself was spacious and decent amenities. The only complaint is the cleanliness. There were ants and the house needs a deep cleaning. TV’s in the rooms would’ve been nice also.

We loved the time that we stayed in Sussex County. The cleanliness could have been a lot better in the kitchen, the dishes, floors refrigerator, and stove. This was a very nice house with beautiful wooden floors.

Comfy, pet friendly, and quiet

House was comfortable, in a great neighborhood and close to everything. Yard was fenced and pet friendly. Beds were comfortable which is a major plus. One issue was a loose stone step which could have been a major issue had someone fallen and also only the house only has one tv. That was hard for a family of 5, with older kids.

Great size, lovely backyard!

As a family of four with two dogs, we were all very comfortable in this house. Everyone had plenty of room. The backyard was especially a treat, it was very nice to sit with our dogs to relax and enjoy the day. The area was very quiet and peaceful. Also nice quiet streets to take a walk with a very pretty pond at the entrance of the development. It was slightly further from our favorite beach, but not too far at all. As a plus, we were closer to some nice restaurants and coffee places that we would have missed otherwise. It was a great central location from many directions. We would highly recommend!

Nice stay with a few glitches

This is a lovely house, with all the amenities. It is comfortable, clean and great for our 2 Golden Retrievers, as there is a fenced in yard. The neighborhood is lovely and the neighbors very friendly. I would've given this property a higher rating, but we had a major and a minor problem. Upon arrival, we couldn't log into the internet with the username and password given to us. We also couldn't use any of the streaming services on the tv. The next day we emailed Vacasa*, with no reply and the next day we called Vacasa. Vacasa's techs were prompt, knowledgeable and had the problem solved in 15 minutes. Apparently the owner had changed username and password and did something with the router. Vacasa gave us a hot spot and we were finally in business on the third day of our stay. *Vacasa replied by email on the third day. The other minor problem was that the house is very dimly lit. In one of the bedrooms there was only a small reading lamp. We had very cloudy weather, so the house was dark and turning on the lights didn't help much. If you don't care about dim lights and internet problems, this house would be perfect for you.

Apart from a few issues the house is overall a good size and comfortable. Very nice, quiet and pet friendly development a short drive to Lewes and the surrounding beaches. Would have been nice for the house to have beach chairs/umbrella etc available for renters, also more information on things to do, eat etc. for the area.

Plantations East Lewes - Quiet Neighborhood

This was a nice location, although if your looking for someplace that has a free or inexpensive use of pool and fitness center, this may not bee the location to stay at. the shared Fitness & Pool are within walking distance, however if you have children you may want to drive there as it is about 15minutes from this house. Also the cost to use these facilities in the summer of 2022 was $20/day per person. This can be remedied by the proximity of this location as it is within (15-20) minutes of the Lewes, Bethany, Cape Henlopen, Deauville and Rehoboth Beaches. You are also within minutes to the multi site Tanger Outlets, dining, and entertainment for the whole family, you can't go wrong there either. the home was adequate for the price, initially we thought this was a whole house accessible unit. (this is not, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths available for guests on the first floor. There is an upstairs and Garage that are off limits as well as the Master Bedroom Closet. The kitchen is well appointed there are nearly all the items needed to sufficiently cook indoors using the stove and easily cleanup as well, using the dishwasher, there is a nice large Refrigerator Freezer unit as well as a Coffee Maker, Toaster and Microwave oven. If you want to cook outside there is a small but usable Gas Grill available to be used. We had to clean this before we used it as it looked like it had not been thoroughly cleaned in some time with the amount of caked on foods. Note if you have clothes to hang you do not have access to the master closet, you will have to use the closet space in the other bedrooms. There's a nice set of couches and leather recliner to sit and watch a nice TV show or movie on the tv and sounds system. The outside was small but enough for our group of 4. We enjoyed the firepit and the use of the grill. in-home Wi-Fi use was acceptable. The A/C was able to keep the home comfortable in the summer heat. The water pressure was adequate throughout the house except in the master bathroom which had a little less than expected pressure. We also were unable to use hairdryers in the bathrooms for some reason. I notified Vacasa about the water pressure and the Hairdryer situation. Oddly we were able to use the hairdryer outside of the bathroom. I attempted to call Vacasa but had been in queue for over 10minutes on the two occasions I called, I had to opt for email instead. And received a response the next day that this would be looked into but we had not received any response after that. of the three bedrooms only the master and a smaller room had mirrors. (not a big issue, however a teen girl will want to have a mirror either to freshen up in front of. this might tie up the bathroom since there's a mirror there. The Master Bedroom was spacious with the ensuite bathroom, although the lighting was less than expected for a space this large, there were limited lighting options in this room and no overhead fan to circulate the air. The Plantation & Lakeside drive roads are laid out in a circle which made it easy to walk/run without getting lost and a safe feeling with the automatic gate at the entrance was well liked. The pond/lake in the middle of the community is also a nice spot to consider to relax by. The Neighbors were also nice and approachable. Using Vacasa for our family vacations is becoming a nice benefit, as they have the access and ability to work with homeowners and provide guests with experiences that you can not get at an extended stay style hotel typically.

Great location and nice back yard

It was clean when we arrived and the location was great. I have a few things that could make it better, such as a closet in the master bedroom to hang clothes, and TVs in the bedrooms. The complaints I have are: There were no tissues and no hand soap in the bathrooms or kitchen, not even a bar of soap. A couple extra towels, toilet paper and paper towels would have been nice also. We did put a request in to the owners 3 weeks prior to arrival about allowing a 3rd older dog who just lies around and I called 2 weeks prior and the day before the check in date and was told there was no response from the owners.. I just think that was a little disrespectful to just ignore my request. The first person I talked to was very helpful and empathetic but the people I talked to after when I checked in was like ‘tough luck, no response’. On the other hand the back yard was very nice and a definite plus, and nice peaceful neighborhood!
