We really enjoyed our stay here. The view from the two decks is spectacular, and the house itself is so comfortable and pleasantly styled. The beds are unbelievably comfortable. The location of the house is also great for exploring. We couldn’t have asked for more! One thing to note is that if travelling with a young family, the two bedrooms are quite far away from each other, with one being at ground level (the hot tub and plunge pool are outside the patio) and the loft room two floors up. We opted to sleep all together in the loft, as we felt more comfortable with our young son being close by. This wasn’t an issue though as there is a double plus two singles and the loft is huge. We would stay here again without hesitation.

House was as described. Hot tub and view were very nice. Great place for our family to hang out and relax for a little break. Beautiful beach down below the property. Well outfitted kitchen. Laundry on property is a plus.

We had a wonderful stay! The place is exactly as pictured and the host was excellent at communicating throughout our stay when we had any questions. They also allowed us to check in early to accommodate a nap for our baby. The hot tub and cold plunge was such a highlight for us. Would definitely stay here again!

That view! May include eagles crossing your line of vision while eating breakfast. This house was great for us. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable. And Joule was a great host, checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Hope to come back sometime.

A perfect family getaway

If you are looking for a great place to spend time with your family, I recommend this place with a nice view of the ocean. A great, private location, stairs that lead you to the beach. Perfect for a family with children (board games, books, arcade). We had a memorable time.

Excellent location - walk down stairs to beautiful Sargent Bay. Lovely house - sparkly clean and charmingly decorated- and very well provisioned with anything you may need.

We spent a week here with our two adult children and our 5-year-old grandchild. The house was perfect for our needs - a full kitchen, outdoor decks in the tree tops, and super comfortable beds. The hot tub and cold plunge were added bonuses and we used them daily. What a treat! Super easy check-in and a responsive host. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

We had an excellent stay! All the rooms were clean and tidy and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Lots of extra bedding if we needed it, as well as little considerations like beach towels and robes (for the hot tub) and camping chairs. There was a fire ban during our stay, but the wood-heated hot tub had electrical backup heating so we were able to enjoy several hot soaks. The property overlooks a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, and it was so quiet and peaceful at night. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything perfect

Host responsive before and throughout our stay. Check-in simple and contactless. House is clean, cozy, comfortable and well supplied with amazing views from the patio, kitchen and living room. Would love to stay here again!

This was the perfect house for our girls trip! But it would've been perfect for any getaway or group: Couples, a family with littles, etc. The house was clean, tastefully decorated and stocked. Everything was as described. The hot tub and cold plunge were dreamy, surrounded by tall trees in the middle of the forest. It was very cool to take the long stairway down to the shore. It's such a cool property. We loved the location too! The hosts were very helpful and responsive.

Cute gem in Halfmoon Bay

Quiet location. Amazing patio with view. Took the stairs a few times down to the water (careful can be slippery!) Cozy and enjoyable visit. Owner was very responsive to messages. Steep driveway that needed to be cleared of pine needles (fall visit) for traction. Would definitely stay here again.

Great get away from the city

The property was just perfect for our family getaway from the city. The trip from Vancouver is quick... and shopping on the drive to the house is easy. The house is very well stocked, there was nothing that we found wanting in the kitchen or house. A great selection of jigsaw puzzles and games for the kids. The beds were super comfortable, and the house very clean and tidy. Exploring on the beach daily was the absolutely highlight. Definitely want to come back.
