The high-quality equipped "Casa Borut 1865" offers with 170 m² of living space a generous and upscale living comfort. The building is still original and is made of local stones that create a perfect harmony in and around the house. The combination of subtle earth tones, soft beige and white tones creates a relaxed atmosphere throughout the villa.

The entire ground floor is a spacious living room consisting of a large living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and the entrance area. There you will find a stone fireplace and many comfortable sofas and various seating areas where you can relax. The massive 4.30 meter long wooden dining table can accommodate up to 12 people. A fully equipped kitchen is a typical old Istrian farmhouse kitchen with a 150 year old washbasin. On the ground floor there is a standard bathroom and in the shower is a chair for people with reduced mobility. The entire ground floor has a Mediterranean flair with stone walls and tiled floors as well as old beams and wooden ceilings.

And if you want to retire, you have on the first floor in front of the room area a small cozy reading area with stunning views of a large antique Rococo mirror. All three charming bedrooms are located on the first floor and overlook the pool and the garden. Two bedrooms have queen beds and each have a large mirror. The middle and the sweetest bedroom has two single beds and is mainly intended for children, but may also be suitable for "older" people who like to sleep separately but not too far apart from each other. A large bathroom with two windows contains a shower and a double sink.

The entire villa is luxuriously and comfortably furnished in country style. If you prefer to spend your time outdoors, you can use the beautiful covered barbecue house with its large wooden table and wooden benches or one of the many seating areas behind or in front of the house. The outdoor area also scores with the large private pool with sun terrace, eight loungers and a children's playground. Whether outside or indoors, the fully air-conditioned "Casa Borut 1865" is worth a visit and can accommodate up to eight people.

The number of towns and villages in the area is too long to list. This is the heart of Istria, one of the most beautiful places in the world - also called "Croatian Tuscany". Hilly and green landscape with medieval towns trigger a special magic for every visitor. Not only the cultural and historical sights, but also many picturesque restaurants and small shops with regional products invite to a trip at any time of the day. You can enjoy the local Malvasia and Teran grapes, virgin olive oil, homemade cheese and of course truffles.

The nearest supermarket is only 5 km away and the nearest beach in Opatija is 40 km away. In addition to agrotouristic farms, two circular hiking trails are available to visitors: the path from St. Kanzian (4-13 km) leads to the homonymous mountain south of Borut and to Paz, while the way from St. New Year's Eve (5 - 15 km) to explore the castle ruins Stari Draguć. Both trails are marked with green-yellow mountain hiking trails and start at Borut station.
